Great price. I was considering buying on sale on the PS4 but since I still have my PS3 I'll save myself a fiver.

Is there any difference between the PS3 and PS4 versions apart from trophy support?

Genuinely disturbing game, released in 2003, wonder how it's stood up

Mahunt 2 was terrible because of the distorted cutscenes, only way they could get it released here but ruined the experience completely!!

Manhunt 2 was also released on the PSP which didn't have a region lock. As such it was possible to import the dutch version which didn't have any censorship. There was also a kill animation involving pliers which was cut from the American version - but which could be unlocked using a hack. For a while it was a "Hot Coffee" scenario all over again.
Storm in a tea cup these days given all the other stuff you can find on the internet these days!

I had the Dutch version on psp but I preferred playing it on Wii. From what I remember the motion controls weren't too bad.

I bought this not long back however I just couldn't get into it possibly as I never played it back in the day, have some heat for a great price, I certainly don't see any reason to get the PS4 version over this for the money saved.

I remember the hype and media hatred around this game when it came out, caused such a stir, great classic. HEAT!

I got ID'd buying Resident Evil 5, what's worse is that I had purchased the entire series up to that point on or near release.

Pretty good game. Violence is pretty tame compared to The Last of Us. But similar game play (hiding from groups, limited resources, later in the game finding guns).
By the way it wasn't my childhood when it was realised - not my first one anyway.

I wouldn't say more tame.
Due to the 10 year age difference The Last of US looks "better", however, some of the executions on Manhunt are ridiculous.

I hope that was the OP's comment and not copypasta'd marketing blurb. Nobody should have been playing this game during their childhood.

I had a Wii version and, through some not-actually-all-that-complicated-or-difficult instructions to modify the game (create an ISO of the disc, decompile the ISO, delete a single line of code, recompile, play on a chipped Wii), I had the fully uncut version in all its gory. Problem was... it just wasn't that much fun to play. It felt dated even at the time.
There's probably a similar method to play it uncut on the PSP using an ISO file. Literally all the devs did to censor it was adding a single line of code to blur the screen during the kill cutscenes.

what's the difference between this and the PS4 version ? Any trophies on either version?
