Really poor wines again. Still decent £10 worth, I'll go for the non-alcoholic drink.

Poor wines?
You do realise you're looking at 30 quid plus for just a bottle of decent gear by itself don't you?
I can tend to tell the difference between regular plonk and decent gear without even being a wine drinker.
Don't know what you're expecting lobbed in with a ten quid meal deal but I would suggest you try lowering the bar significantly.

Utterly crap selection of non alcoholic drink options though. Last time was only Mexican Lime and Lemongrass. What happened to the lovely twin packs of fruit juices they used to offer.

In my local M&S they'll let you have a couple of bottles of ale (Citra). I believe they'll also let you have some of the four packs of lager. It's worth asking/popping it through the till and seeing what happens.

Hmm my £5 off £35 spend is still valid until tomorrow so I shall go and stock up my freezer, thanks OP. As for the wine I find the Loretto Sangiovese drinkable

Does the £10 cover 3 course meal for two people ?

31 May 1614#17
No, they just decided to call it 'dine in for two £10' to confuse people

Two posh restaurant portions is one person meal though, have you seen the obese out on the streets ? I carry a few extra pounds, not a 8 year old child in extra weight lol
Might check out the ingredients for allergy stuff amd treat myself if I can  heat !

They have been doing this for months? How is this a deal when it's on almost all the time, they just change the food every month or so. Or is this a better deal?

Not new I'm afraid. Had it as part of the meal deal a while ago and it wasn't that nice sadly :disappointed:

Because a deal is a deal no matter how often it's repeated? There loads of other deals that get repeated regularly like Argos vouchers for example. For £5 a head you get a better than average easy cook main, a nice dessert and couple glasses of wine. It certainly beats our greasy local take-way for something quick and easy on a Friday night.
think of it as a £5 bottle of wine and a decent meal = Bargain!

What do you expect for £10? The Merlot is quite drinkable, especially if aerated beforehand.

I love how people try to come across as a wine snob on a £10 deal but just come across as a heathen.

A great deal and I thought the Reserve De La Saurine Red was very drinkable. Even if it was a blended wine.

Okay, this might sound like a dumb question but how do I find out which stores are participating in this offer?
And also, correct me if I am wrong but is it 2 people, i.e 2 Main courses, 2 sides, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine ALL for £10?
Thanks!

Actually, wait. I am so confused. Do we eat in the stores or is this to take home? Again it might sound stupid but I can't find anything!
Bluebella
1 Jun 162#35
Its one main/side/dessert that feeds two and a drink that's either a bottle of wine or something else. It's just M&S food hall stuff which you take home and throw in the oven. If you get this deal frequently you will probably come across couples debating/arguing over which dishes to choose
You can sit outside the store if you like and eat it.

Something odd happened on my purchase today, I got two meal deals for £17. The checkout couldn't explain why and said it was too busy to ask. The Bill has deducted £3.00 for something it calls WOM 2 for £12, then the dine in for 2 and then the free wine.
On top of that the wine I got doesn't seem to be on the list, and according to Wotwine is actually worth the shelf price!
