Having been a HKUD member for past 7 years and never really found anything "deal" worthy, I had to share this one. If like me you have 1000's of free text messages every month you never use and also like to win free stuff this is probably for you.
Here is the blurb from the Google App Store:
Lucky Leftovers offers a unique way of using up the leftover text messages from your monthly allowance or prepaid credit by entering competitions. It is completely free to enter when messages sent are included in your monthly allowance.
Win the latest gadgets, vouchers, experiences, great products and sought after services. Claim rewards for entering, even if you don't win!
Keep track of how many times you enter each competition, how many messages you send and set limits to make sure you stay within your allowance.
Please note: I can't find this in the iOS app store anywhere, so I believe this is Android only.

App has stopped working and it's disappeared from the Google play store. Should we be worried?

I've been using this for a few days. Seems legit. No spam, hidden costs or dodgy phonecalls as yet. My only gripe is it only allows you to queue 10 entries at a time.
Time to root my phone and use Hiro Macro to do it for me.

I've claimed £15 from Lucky Leftovers so far, never won any prizes yet. I should be so lucky.

I have 'unlimited' texts according to vodafone? can I really send thousands of entries for free? Im suspicious of getting a big phone bill one day...

My app keep saying I have sent 4999 text and it wouldn't roll over to 5k, so I can't redeem my £5 :disappointed:

Any idea if you can adjust the settings to send more than 5000 messages a month?

From what I understand they get paid from termination fees paid by the carrier. So sending 100 texts a day would give them a couple of pounds (I don't know the exact amount). They run it as a competition with a prizes. I've never seen anyone do this before, so quite interesting. Would be illegal I'm guessing to forward your details without consent and it's a UK company according to the play store.
