The Passport Messenger Shoulder Bag from Lowepro will hold your compact system camera or DSLR with kit lens. It also features a separate CradleFit 13" laptop/tablet pocket that suspends and protects the device within a separate rear compartment. The bag also has room for an extra lens, flash, or Smartphone.
The bag's interior features a removable padded camera insert with a touch-fastened top closure. Removing the insert provides one large storage space for gear or personals. Additional storage space is provided by an open front organizer pocket located under the front flap. The bag is made from nylon and features an adjustable shoulder strap with removable shoulder pad. I wish there were space for extra lenses. I have so many bags, but none that are both compact and have space for an extra lens or two.
