These bulbs waste electricity and do not last very long . Better get LED. More expensive but much more cheaper and long lasting in long run for the same lumens . I don't like the orange colour of halogen light either but guess they come with different colour temperatures.

Obsolete tech these days!

cold. why buy 60w light bulbs when you can get the same amount of light with a 9w bulb? the initial outlay is less but you'll pay a lot more in the long run. buy A rated energy efficient LED light bulbs.

Only good if someone else is paying the bills! otherwise a very false saving.
