Excellent phone around £50+ cheaper than everywhere else I could see.
Back in stock, likely to be limited if previous Vodafone deals are anything to go by; finally managed to buy today having missed out agbrothers post

Confession is good for the soul so:
For weeks I thought I owned one of these. I even went as far as commenting on threads about it including a comment about how I'd paid £50 more for mine than the posted deal and battery life was much better than people had described...
Then I was on Amazon looking for a case and spotted that my phone didn't look exactly like the ones in the pictures. I went back to the receipt to discover I'd actually bought a G4 without realising it.
A bargain, but what kind of a numpty does that..?

I would sooner buy box damaged from Amazon than ever deal with Vodafone again.

I was going to buy one of these a year ago but was put off by the terrible battery life and the overheating issues. At the time I was looking a friend bought one. I remember asking him how the battery life was initially and he said, not great. The next time I asked I was greeted with a long pause....and, "pretty bad". Oops. MM might help with that, but the overheating issue was the deal breaker as my next extended trip is back to India - if it overheats over here, I'd have no hope out there!
BUT, for people who aren't heavy users, the battery issues might not be too bad (and yes you can swap out the battery) and the camera is supposed to be really good. It's just not for me.

i wonder if they are ever going to fix the overheating issue, they dont seem to be bothered about it, had problems with a g4 that used to get really hot

Are phones from Vodafone network locked?

they are locked but they will generally oblige you with a unlock code if you are picking up from in store

Im a big fan of the g3 had mine for over a year with no battery or overheating problems but im not sure vodafone is the best place to get one, just read the other threads for this deal.
Hot for the phone but freezing for vodafone.

Yes, & they charge an extortionate £20 to unlock (unless it is at least 12 months old, in which case it's free I think).
Vodafone sent out a batch of LG G2 ''s and didn't bother charging for them... One of my best deals found here

Good for you, my own experience of Vodafone and their lack of customer service amongst many others on trustpilot do not mirror your experience.
Despite going ahead to complain about my shocking customer service, I am doubtful they will be refunding the money on the LG G3 I went through anguish to receive, and most certainly did not make that monetary mess up on my account.
So whilst you may have had a free deal through an administrative error, that does not mean everyone gets a deal for Vodafone, and when things do go wrong I know for certain everyone gets grief with shocking customer support.

Had one of these for about 18 months now an always been locked away nice and safe in an otterbox defender and never had overheating issue, agreed battery life is not the best but i do have screen up high, plus you can always buy a spare battery and pop that in unlike so many other phones, also camera is not the best IMO

Got one for my wife a year ago from Simply Electronics and paid £200 32gb version. Amazing phone no over heating issues and battery life with MM has been very good. She's a medium to sometimes heavy user and i often use it. Fast and reliable from personal experience.

I love the sound of this phone for the camera but am reluctant to order from Vodafone... Don't need the stress :/ I really need a phone for this price or under with a great camera for pics of my baby due soon. Any suggestions ? I'm open to pretty much anything. Using a 1st gen moto g atm.

My wife's just upgraded from the G3 to the G5. The G3 is a cracking phone, shame Mazuma are only offering £85 to recycle it!

MSE.com has a tool to compare the prices paid by recyclers - not sure I'm allowed to link to it here!

No they won't. They ask for £20. And why do you need to post this 4 times?

Get it from eBay instead starting at just £2.45
