Looks a good find. Interested to know how hot it gets in use.

Thanks. I took a chance and ordered. I've had the confirmation of dispatch so fingers crossed! Only realised afterwards that I could have gone through Quidco for a bonus 3%. Never mind, hopefully there will be a next time.

They are the first and occasionally the only site I check for memory cards and sticks. I don't buy off them all that often, but they've been excellent each time I do.

Even the single seems a very good price, but the price for two is excellent. I hear a lot of stories about fake memory sticks. I've never used MyMemory, are they reputable? I see they are based in Jersey, has anybody any experience of actual delivery times?
Thanks

Lexar are quite well regarded in this kind of memory. When it comes to professional photography and similar areas they already make the highest performing readers and cards. even if some of their pro lines area bit pricey.

well the deciding factor wil then be-
- actual speed in a USB 2 or USB 3 slot
- heat level - as in - some get really hot
- actual quality - as in - some dont last long at all

Where's the value part of this deal? All 128GB drives seem to be around same price.

But it is a slightly faster one, with write speeds of 60MB/s, as opposed to 45MB/s.

I know these are slower than SSDs, but will it be quicker to access data from than a standard HDD in a laptop?

These are good for chromebook owners out there that can't upgrade to a bigger size SSD.
