Yes it does. Its not just the sugars from full fat coke that are the problem but the phosphoric acid as well.
Common Sense
24 May 161#12
Correct. It does cause decay as it wears away at the enamel as it is still acidic. Acidic drinks are not good and the best drink is water as it has a pH of almost 7.

I wish the do-gooders would realise that their words and lives are just insignificant. Nobody cares that you're telling us all Coke is bad, save it for your autobiography or something, you ends of bells.
The real issue here is that it tastes rank from cans. Glass bottles are where it's at. £2.99 for six in B&Ms. Taste the difference, guys.

Any deals on caffeine free? Can't drink the caffeinated stuff in the evening without staying awake all night (yes, that's why I'm posting at 12:45 am).
It's frustrating how difficult it is to find soft drinks without either sugar or caffeine. Fanta Zero and 7-Up Free are getting slightly more common in the supermarkets, but you almost never find them in pubs, cafes or vending machines.

My friend likes coke, his nose has started to swell and haemorrage due to the amount he has shoved up it. For those who ask but doesn't coke rot your teeth? I say not when you dont have any to rot, it clears your head and makes you sleep like a baby.

I used to drink Coke and lemonade by the bucket load. I've since cut it out entirely and have so far lost 8KG in weight just by drinking water and tea.
But I do miss the days of walking the supermarket aisles working out the price per can if their latest Coke 'promotion'!

If you prefer Pepsi (I don't care either way, as long as it has sugar :-) ), Tesco have 24 cans for 6 quid until 7th June. I don't know why Coca-Cola is on offer less than Pepsi - they probably think that their market lead allows them to charge more typically, but I have no allegiance either way as I said.

Also with what dosage? One sip, one can or one swimming pool? Daily, weekly, hourly? How many brain cells?
It's like saying water and oxygen are a dangerous combination which kills people.

I recall reading once you would have to drink 30 cans a day for the aspartame to be at dangerous level.
That's 30 cans a day, every day not just a one off.
If you drink that much of anything I would be worried.
Same with the rotting the teeth thing when people say they put a tooth in a glass of coke and 24 hours later it had started to rot....well to fix that swallow the coke instead of keeping it in your mouth for days at a time.

People in North London still speak English?
NorthLondonN1
25 May 16#44
N1 is Angel, Old Street, Hoxton, Shoreditch. Have you ever been around here? It's 2 mins walk to the city of London. I assume you haven't got a clue of what you just stated. Secondly, knowing perfect English has no correlation with intelligence.

I can only assume whatever you are drinking, instead of coke, has removed your sense of humour.
Assuming that you still had one, living in London.
I must also assume knowing perfect English does not help to understand what is written.
It seems fair to assume you read into things, what you want to, rather than what is actually written.
As I made no reference to intelligence, I can only assume your comment was made in defence. :stuck_out_tongue:
