Well personally some should be taught that money and value are important and that sometimes mummy and daddy can't afford to buy brand new items. If it works it works. Letting them scream and whinge about a gift and get their own way only breeds spoiled children.
In short, like it or lump it.
Good deal OP

£72.84 gets you one that is 'Item is in original packaging, but packaging may come damaged. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy.'
I always find that Amazon overstate the conditions of the items and generally they turn up in a decent condition. If not, it's easy enough to return, plus if you go on chat they nearly always offer you a discount to keep it if you're not happy with the imperfections.

Mine arrived Saturday, box was a bit roughed up but the item itself was immaculate.
Absolutely chuffed with my buy so far, thanks to OP on this and the original thread, much appreciated.

I always go for the warehouse deal if there's a decent price difference I've never had a problem, everything has come in mint condition with a full amazon guarantee.

sorry guys, stupid question, but are Amazon Warehouse deals listed separately on the amazon website. these seem like brilliant offers, I've never heard of amazon warehouse before

Because they are usually "used" products that have been returned for whatever reason, or just damaged boxed items they can't sell as "new".

Be careful with returning too many expensive items to Amazon as they will send you a warning and eventually ban your account (even from Warehouse Deals).

do they come with 1year warranty or just 30days warranty?
topss to abusaleh

All Amazon warehouse deals come with a 12 month 'Amazon' warranty and a 30 day returns option. If after the 30 days it develops a fault, Amazon collect it for free and will refund you the purchase price. There is no repair/replacement option if you go via Amazon. Some items will still come with the remainder of the mfgs warranty, so you could go via the mfg if you prefer a repair, but it's difficult to tell which ones fall into this category - Amazon won't advise and will just say the warranty is with themselves.

Indeed, a good deal - just pointing out the condition as it wasn't clear in the description.

This is for "Used - Acceptable" condition i.e. "Large cosmetic imperfection (more than 5cm x 5cm)" or "Scratches on front of item (less than 3.5 cm. x 3.5 cm.). Scratches on top of item (less than 3.5 cm. x 3.5 cm.). Large scratches on sides of item (greater than 3.5 cm. x 3.5 cm.). Missing owner / user manual."
Highly unlikely someone will be buying this for a Christmas present (if that's what you were implying!)
