Went for the vita version as I've missed the current gen ones, but it's worth a shot at a £10 if it's poor and they honor can always sell it on for probably more than I bought it for but the last few vita Lego games are supposed to be ok and not cut down like they used to be

has ebay policy on this changed over the last couple of year? I know paypal refund fees, but eBay used to charge sellers fee unless the buyer agreed to the cancellation.

Just received a PayPal refund. It was with a go but in all honesty I didn't expect them to honour the price. It was obviously a mistake so fair credit to them refunding within 3 hours.

You can't get poor feedback as a buyer :wink: There's also no way to isolate buyers with given feedback scores as an automated process.

If anything, it could conceivably be that they're able to fulfil a certain quantity of orders and you got lucky - unless you want to ask them, you'll just need to wait and see!

Yes, agreed - the most likely explanation for the non-refund is just that it's not yet been processed at some level (they had several hundred orders, after all!).

I placed an order for 360 copy yesterday, had my order refunded. But now my previously junk-mail-free email inbox is getting hammered with junk mail.

This is very interesting. I did not think that it could be linked to this but since this 'deal' I have also had numerous junk/spam emails. Subjects for example: Vanquis Visa Card, Thank You!, Bet Loop, Money Making, Casino Tips....and many others.

If this is the case, can we take any action against it? As it has resulted in me having to make a new email account!

I ordered some dimensions fun packs from this seller (3for2) from a different deal, loads more spam today...

I've just this very minute received £5 via PayPal from them by way of apology. The email didn't refer to the pricing fiasco nor the cancellation without comment.

Personally I think this isn't bad way of dealing with the situation, a better way would be for them to sell me the game for under a tenner, but, hey, we probably all knew it was a long shot.

£5 and you forgive them lol, what about the initial lies to the cancellation, they can stuff their bribe.

I wouldn't say I'd "forgive" them as such, the cancellation without reason (though we all know what the reason was) wasn't great, and the lies they told others (I wasn't told anything personally) obviously doesn't sit well, and is hugely unprofessional, and might have an impact on whether I order from them again in the future.

However, I guess they are just trying to make the best out of a bad situation with the £5 freebie. You could see it as a bribe, while I don't necessarily agree, I see where you are coming from - they're paying us not to leave a negative. From my POV, yes, they messed up badly with the mis-pricing, lack of communication (me), lying about what is going on (others), taking ages to refund (I was refunded within hours, but others much, much longer), not admitting to messing up, but I feel that they've done more than other companies might by giving us an extra fiver that you can use wherever and not just with them.

People are entitled to tell them to shove it, in an ideal world they should have honoured the price or just come clean about the fiasco.

As far as I'm concerned I don't think there is anything to forgive them for.

It was obviously a mistake in the pricing and I'd assume we all kind of knew it wouldn't be honoured. I wouldn't honour it if it was my company.

They never told me anything so in my case I have not been lied to. I won't be leaving them any feedback and doubt I'd be leaving a negative if they didn't give the £5.

We all took a chance. It didn't pay off but we got £5 for our troubles. I don't see it as much of a problem as some.

People who left bad feedback must live a sad life. Everyone knew it was a pricing error & knew there was a 99.9% chance it would get cancelled. People get £5 for nothing & still go on like they've been cheated. Some people :neutral_face:
