Great price.
I'm sure I'll get tons of negative feedback from people who have got this for £2.99 somewhere!!

That was imaginative. They only finished building it in 2009.

Lego have turned into the Apple of toys. Hate what they have become.

Nice! I'm honestly quite a fan of the Architecture line. Currently, Only have one, The Trevi Fountain. I'm likely to pick up more of these in the future  Cheers OP!

I never thought of it like that before, but that does seem a reasonable comparison.
Although, I can't see my kids, or my grandkids playing with an old apple product in 20 years time

I was building this in the 70's with whatever blue, red, yellow and white 2, 4 and 8 blocks I had.
No special blocks, no instructions, just imagination.

looks more like the White house after the independence day attack. Stick a Lego Will Smith in and Bob's your uncle.

More expensive than all of the other toys in its category as a result of being the most popular brand name...

I'm not sure about that, Lego has always been expensive, even when it almost went bust in the 70's/80's. Its more to do with quality and design/running a fair good company. IMO

About time Lego reverted their prices back to realistic levels.
Extortionate prices for basically a lump of plastic.
