I don't know, I prefer L4D to L4D2, the problem with L4D2 is I didn't like any of the survivors.
If I said "I hate vampires" you would probably be able to guess my favourite survivor.

Yes. I still play regularly with a couple of old shool friends. We never have a problem finding a match.

Awesome game, but you might wanna wait for the steam summer sale, where you can get the bundle of L4D1 and L4D2 for a similar price to this
