If it's your first time in Vegas I'd consider staying somewhere on the strip. The Westgate is quite a way North of the strip and the hotel is just ok. The linq, flamingo or even NYNY would all be much better options, if you fancy downtown. The D is $30 a night on travel zoo and the golden nugget is a beautiful hotel with a nice pool to consider too.
I'd also agree 4 days from the UK isn't enough, our first time was 4 days and by the time you have settled in, your head in home. We did 7 days last and wasn't sure if it was too much, but went back this year for another 7. Totally different holiday, much more relaxed and got to see other parts of nevada.

Not actually true, you will get Jet lag both ways. Jet lag doesn't necessarily mean being knackered its just your body clock adjusting so that first morning when your up at 4am is still jet lag.
For what its worth this deal is pretty crap its such as "look how cheap you could go to vegas for". Nobody in their right mind would fly to vegas for 4 days and the Westgate isnt a hotel I would ever consider recommending to anyone, its very dated, off strip and very much a hotel where the vast majority of people will be there to gamble their houses away.

4 nights is far too short , can take you 2 days to get over jetlag and get into Vegas time , 7 nights is a min , we go every year , going next week , 8 nights at the Vdara and BA flights , £600pp through Expedia

You won't get jet lag on the way out, just stay awake - you'll get jet lag when you come back as you'll lose the time - have flown to the states/Caribbean every yr for the last 12 yrs and never an issue when I get there

Yes you can that is right, absolutly crazy that I go from Gatwick Easyjet to Dublin, to fly from Dublin to Gatwick enroute to Vegas for less, than just boarding at Gatwick!

If you're not bothered about one stop, you can fly from major airports in Ireland to Vegas for less than £400 roundtrip and that's usually a good airline.

Even in the low season the Vdara is usually around the $200 per night mark for the most basic room. I think you're right and there must be more than two people in the room to achieve that kind of price! Even then considering it's direct flights with BA and June it's still a total bargain! If that price is achieved for just two people then I suggest to Yozzman1234 that you post those kind of deals on here. You would get some serious heat!
On a side note. If anyone is thinking of going to Vegas in a group then I highly recommend the Signature at the MGM. Some of the suites are huge. We had one last year that could sleep up to 8 people, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms with amazing views from the large balcony. The suites only seem to be available by booking via the telephone but the prices are very reasonable.

Maybe he has four in the room. As for two days to get over jet lag .....personally I've never found it a big issue going out to Vegas.....coming back is another matter. Dublin to Vegas return can be had for £350 however and add on LCC from your regional airport.

We went October half term last year, 7 nights at the Flamingo with indirect flights changing at Chicago on the way out and LA coming home. After adding resort fees and removing 8% ebookers TCB we paid around £760 pp which I thought was decent for school holidays and it was still in the mid 20s.

Cheapest we could find for mid sept (kids back at school) for 6 days 5 nights was £650 Virgin flights via Seattle and Atlanta (direct with a good airline is at least £1000) MGM including resort fee for double queen room is £288 for 5 nights.
Basically you pay for what you get...

Oh and that flights with decent times e.g. You have the evening in Vegas by flying in the morning and you gave morning and mid afternoon in Vegas before flying home!

Of course he can't because it's codswallop. Resort fees alone for the Vdara is $30 a day so that's £171 straight away.

voting hot as its a good price but the westgate is starting to get a bit run down imo. needs some serious updating done to it. it was formally the hilton. its off strip too but there is the monorail which is right outside.
Opening post
£397pp based on room only on 2-6 June 2016
