Coconut oil are good for the nuts, only trouble is you have to change the bedsheets afterwards.its worth it
though when your girlfriend complements you on how shinny they are, dont tell her what the secret is. That way she'll keep coming back for more.

yes, did you? Heart UK advises people who want to lower their blood cholesterol to avoid using coconut oil in cooking and certainly not use it as a dietary supplement. Creamed and desiccated coconut contain around 60-70% coconut fat should also only be consumed occasionally or in small amounts as part of an overall healthy diet. - See more at: https://heartuk.org.uk/latest-news/article/heart-uks-statement-on-coconut-oil#sthash.nGpkDQB0.dpuf

Well she spent a week researching it and discussed it with my wife's doctor before finding the time to call to discuss it, so in all fairness I prefer the opinion of a health professional over an Internet website. And as an aside, a reputable website specialising in heart health and reducing cholesterol has a totally different view to yours. https://heartuk.org.uk/latest-news/article/heart-uks-statement-on-coconut-oil

If you're not interested in eating this (personally I don't trust KTC anyway) then it's great for a myriad other things:
- skin moisturiser (use it myself, works great - I swim a lot)
- beard conditioner
- pet food additive
- "personal" lubricant (search reddit for your particular peccadillo and compatibility, but basically safe for everything)
- oh yeah, cooking probably, but I wouldn't use this one myself http://draxe.com/coconut-oil-uses/

I use this in my dogs food, just a little scrape each morning. It has settled a skin complaint my older dog was having. Been using it about a year now.

The idea is its tasteless. You don't want it to taint the food you're preparing.

Tried this stuff in the past, there isn't even a coconut smell to it and it's virtually tasteless. Spend a few pounds more and get the stuff that's £3-4 from home bargains and the like, it is far superior and also doesn't break the bank.

Great price. I usually have to use bacon and sausages to clog my arteries but this is way cheaper.

Not voting either way, yes it is cheap but it is heavily refined. Will still have health benefits as coconut oil in any form is difficult to damage but if money permits, I would always go for the more expensive unrefined oils

Had a chat with the nurse at our doctors today regarding the use of coconut oil and its impact on cholesterol. She said that the virgin oil was OK in moderation, however the processed stuff should be avoided.

It's been this price for some time although I've added heat as it's not been posted for ages.
An excellent, multi use product too. Not just for cooking.
Opening post
This was in my Local Bedford Tesco Extra, but assume its Nationwide.
