Food processor as per the John Lewis website. Was previously at this price but ran out of stock, then went to £50 again.
They now have stock back, and have price matched the Homebase clearance sale, as of this morning, but with the benefit of having the additional year of warranty with JL - It has great reviews on JL and on Amazon, etc, especially for an entry piece of kit.
Hopefully helps some of you out! Sorry if already posted, couldn't find it after the price was matched again and back in stock.
John Lewis blurb:
"Make food processing even more compact and versatile with the Kenwood FPP220 Multipro compact food processor.
This clean white processor is ideal for smaller kitchens. It has a liberal 2.1L total capacity bowl, along with a calibrated 1.2L liquidiser. The FPP220 is supplied with a host of attachments, including:
Stainless steel knife blade: ideal for cake making, chopping and pureeing
Coarse shred/slice blade: use for firm food items such as carrots and hard cheeses, as well as softer items like cucumbers and tomatoes
Emulsifying and whisk tool: easily make cream, mayonnaise and other dips with this useful attachment
Blender: create milkshakes and blend soups with the blender attachment
Safety features on the FPP220 include cord storage for a neat worktop, rubberised non-slip feet, full safety interlocks (meaning it won’t work with the lid off) and a locking lid on the liquidiser with detachable filler cap."
I have two processors. A Magimix and this Kenwood. The Kenwood's ideal for small jobs and less faff/pain to clean. Alexlea88 mentioned some of its general abilities, but it also makes really good pastry if you are prepared to use pulse rather than constant speed (which can turn everything to glue!). I make 500-600g blocks of ruff puff in mine, in two-second pulses. Done in less than a minute. It does a fine job with all-butter shortcrust too - again in two-second pulses until the mix just starts to clump, then tipped out onto a lightly floured worktop and brought together by hand.

I've got it. We were looking for a small food processor and didn't want to fork out for a full blown one. It works really well. Grates, shreds and blends stuff without any problems. For this price you can't go wrong!

Buy this and return when collecting. Ensure you complain bitterly when handing over the return.

On a serious note, I resent collection fees too.
I REFUSE to pay a company, to pick something up from their shops, that I bought from them. Robbing gits !!
