Ebay special. Brass fittings about £18 delivered. Combined with demon shine snow foam from an earlier Hotukdeals post. Foams up well. Looking forward to running out and excuse to buy a better snow foam product .

Wouldn't buy it for this price.
You'll see the K2 on offer for much less. I picked one up for £30 in a new year sale, didn't include the patio washer but they don't really work anyway. The dirt blaster lance works just fine (used it at the weekend).
Nothing wrong with the machine it works fine for cars and slabs.
It was a bargain at £30 but I wouldn't pay £80 for it even with the patio cleaner and a bag of detergent.
If you're going to spend £80+ get a Nilfisk

I suspect that the person who posted that the pressure was not great must have been someone like me .
Bought it today from B&Q . I didn't read the manual ( had a few pints of beer on board) and tried to clean the patio with just the extension bit put on the trigger gun .
I was wondering if my model was defective and then looked at the manual.
Only then did I notice that the lance was to be connected for the pressure to build up.:-(
Brilliant device and as another poster commented , I didn't know that my patio was the colour its now.

What a load of boll....! I bought this model, with the patio cleaner at even better price last year - Homebase £49.00 :stuck_out_tongue:
True, the motor is air cooled but it has auto stop/start, so if gets too hot it switches off. I've had mine going for a quarter of an hour and it didn't cut out. Still going strong. Most of the time you don't have it going full tilt anyhow, like cleaning the car you spray, you stop, etc. PLUS it has 2 year guarantee.
I bought one because of the low price (never seen it this cheap anywhere else) , but also because of this review by Which?
They gave it 'outstanding'. I'll second that. http://pressurewasherreviewer.co.uk/karcher-k2-compact-home-air-cooled-pressure-washer-review/
In fact, it was cheaper than £49 because I didn't need it, I flogged the patio cleaner part on ebay for 15 quid!
Sorry lister, not voting as Homebase Deal was much better than this. Perhaps they will do it again... worth waiting if not desperate for one. Plus Homebase do good Nectar deals.
EDIT Oops silly me just seen the other posts. Homebase price is good, but unlike my buy there last year it's not got the patio cleaner etc. Plenty of buyers out there for the patio cleaner part, so buy B&Q and flog the patio bit on ebay for up to 40 quid! I should have asked more for mine but wanted rid of it quick.
LOOK!! People paying nearly 40 quid for patio cleaner part alone that is included in your box if you buy a K2!

Be aware! This is a heapest device and has air cooling system rather than water cooling which can overheat the engine till it stops and will never start again.
Max 10 min of work will be safe for the engine.

I can confirm that I get more pressure by holding half my thumb over the end of the hose than I do out of this plastic yellow poop.

It sounds like to me that maybe you have got a faulty unit or something else is not right with your set-up.
I brought this K2 washer two weeks ago in the half price offer from Argos and it's really powerful. My patio had many years of in-ground dirt and it had no problems at all getting the all the slabs clean. When cleaning the walls of the house I had to reduce the pressure as it was taking the paint off the walls!

There's must be something wrong with it. I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it far more powerful than any hose I've ever come across.

Been keeping an eye out. Almost bought at tesco lunchtime but didn't need the car kit. Spotted this post and got one as I wanted the patio cleaner. Cheers poster have some heat.
If you are in a terrace, yes you do.
However you could run a hose under the floor. So that it can be connected to the tap at the back when needed and you have access out front. No plumber needed
I ran a hose round to the front of the house and do pretty much that.

I can imagine the blast of dirt enthralling but forgive me in my thought.... If the hose is in the back garden your car is out front parked on the street you'd have to drag the entirety through the house. No?

You need to connect it to a hose, that hose can be connected from inside or outside on a tap.
You will also need a power extension cord so you can plug it in as well, unless you are using it close to a power source.
