You will have to be in to sign. Amazon don't tell you this when you're ordering or even during dispatch. The first you know is when your order isn't left.

I'm never home when they deliver parcels for me. You just need Amazon pick up point. Every deliveries for me are left in off licence shop from where I can pick them up on my way from work.
