I had this problem a while back. Was told CPW's computer system was incompatible with Vod's computer system.

Moto G4+ looks good but it is likely to be £199 for the 2GB/16GB model. If you use Moto Maker to make it 3GB/32GB I wonder how much that will be?

I bought it to use as my main phone and as explained previously am a big fan of huawei and have had 3 previously all which I loved. ...but something with the p8 lite just doesn't quite fit. I think being all plastic and so light it immediately feels cheap in hand and having no weight to it feels like it could drop out hand any second. I also have an Xperia z (first model) running lollipop and honestly the battery life is about the same and I'd say I get LESS lag. Though the battery does over heat more but doesn't seem to drain faster.

Lenovo have completely messed up on the pricing of the new Moto G4 series. Even the supposedly cheap G4 Play (the one with a 720p screen, 8MP camera, 1.2Ghz SD410) will be released for £139.
Where the P8 Lite is concerned, I like the phone, it is well built and the 13MP camera is great. Unfortunately Huawei cheaped out on the screen, which is dull and lifeless (poor contrast, poor peak brightness, washed-out colours). Other handsets around the same size and resolution offer much better quality panels (Moto G 2nd & 3rd, Lumia 640, Alcatel Idol 3 4.7, Xperia M4...etc). It's good enough at this price though if you are eligible, so hot from me.

I agree, had it nearly 2 weeks, it really is light. Every time I use it I get this nagging feeling it's going to drop, maybe not today but eventually. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't imagine anyone will be disappointed but at the same time prepare not to be overwhelmed. Will say one thing about Huawei they don't scrimp on the charger, solid as a rock, some of the others I've had have been so cheap charging a phone is more like a balancing act with a prayer thrown in.

My experience with huawai isn't good. At first they were OK, then after a year of use(abuse in my case tbh) they showed signs of poor build quality. Compared to my moto g they are worlds apart in build quality - after dropping it more times than I can remember it stills remains as good as new. Maybe I'm just unlucky with huawai, and lucky with the Moto g, but I'd pay more for the Moto g rather than less for the huawai.

Still looking forward to a deca-core phone with 8GB of RAM at a decent price. Got a couple of years to wait yet so will keep using the phone I bought in January 2013 which works fine. Will be nice to get at least a solid 5 years use out of a phone. :-) although admittedly, I mostly have it on low brightness settings so the battery has held up well.

A friend of mine still insists on using a Nokia phone from about 2000 I think. I don't think he can handle having access to information all of the time and does seem a bit more relaxed when he doesn't have a smartphone.

You might as well just buy a used Samsung Galaxy S4. I've just bought a mint one from Ebay for £65 delivered and even though its a 2 1/2 year old phone it's specifications are 'mostly' a lot better than the P8 Lite.

personally i think the s4 is an ugly phone. actually the s3 s4 and s5 arent exactly a nice design. i prefer the shape of the alpha. but I understand what you mean in terms of specs and performance it measures up nicely against the p8 lite despite its age, likewise my xperia z which was released how long ago but as I say i feel it actually performs slightly better.

I recall there were problems with some early iphone 5 not supporting certain 4g frequency bands new to UK.
Do all Galaxy S4 handsets support 4g band 20 now commonly used in UK ?

I was going to buy it then as well, so I've thinking close to the £200 to get enough ram, but its hard finding a decent maker which will provide future software updates.
Question for anyone that has this phone? I am only getting lock screen controls when using the default music app. Everything else like youtube, pocketcasts, google music etc doesn't work.
Any idea how to fix it?
