Hmmm. I've been to Bulgaria about 10 times. Mostly to the ski resorts but I've been to the beach resorts a couple of times. Never met a Bulgarian that hated me yet. And I'm English. Maybe you should try smiling and the world will smile back?

Went to Nessebar in 2013, was a great Holiday.
Location is really good for this hotel, it's close to the bars and clubs, and not too far away from the old town also. Heat added! :sunglasses:
There's definitely some bargains to be had at the moment.

Do these kind of offers pop up in peak times? We have last week of July first week of August booked off as my wife has to book months in advance, but we haven't booked anything. Plan is to book something all inclusive last minute... Hopefully!!

Always someone that hates the deal. Just because you don't want to go!
They probably wouldn't want you there

The country's capital? How very strange. Flights are cheap because they are from the bigger airports. If you want to fly from Southampton airport and pay £100+ extra, all the best!

Good luck to anyone going to Bulgaria. It's hell on earth and they hate the English. I literally cried with relief when we got home.

We just got back from Antalya yesterday. Got a £800 AI holiday in a 5* luxury hotel for £371. Had an amazing time. Other folk's loss, our gain. Stunning country.

Went to Sunny Beach for 2 weeks 2 years ago and really liked it. There were dodgy areas around but common sense keeps you safe as anywhere. Nessebar was a very pleasant little area.

Hopefully you'll get something but it'd unlikely anything like these cheap May deals... June and early July will still be pretty good
