Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force. A living, breathing, open world responds to your actions - you and your Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight. But your enemy has the advantage - superior technology, firepower, heavy armour and air support. You must learn the art of guerrilla warfare - ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception - and fight a running battle through the war-ravaged suburbs of Philadelphia.

good price on homefront but still not biting until it has been patched to sort the majority of issues out. I'm so sick of games releasing that are maybe not broken but on the way there.

Your inferring something that isn't there. Its an observation on how the different games for the various consoles reflect what they do and the markets they serve. Simple as that. 2DS was not referenced, as its not included in the deal post, am staying on topic so no comment on 2DS.

I played the beta and was shocked how bad it was!!! I like the idea of it but from what i have seen of it they can keep it

OK we get it from your million and one posts you don't like the ps4 or Xbox one or the games on it!
But at least you aren't rating about the 2ds yet

Doesn't stop the rest of us going into "discussion" HOT deal OP... ironically this deal sums the various consoles up in a nutshell. One game projects the colourful family friendliness of a certain console, while the other projects the 18-rated shooter-fest violence orientated entertainment that is the brunt of a couple of consoles.

Definitely not... just showing cheaper option to help others.
PS. I'm not a game market expert(just occasional player), so not going into futher discussion apart from price

Those are technical issues. In my opinion the games issues go beyond that.

Dambuster have already announced they are working on fixes.
1st on the list for them is the autosave freeze (which for me is the only really bad issue)

Homefront is currently a contender for worst game of the year and it might just win it unless something goes horribly wrong pre-Christmas.

Same here it had an interesting concept but as you said the bugs and problems are to numerous and deep seated that it really don't think they can fix it with patches
msmyth
27 May 16#19
Apparently it won't. Its had a disastrous development cycle and the problems with the game are too deeply ingrained for a patch to fix.
It's a shame because I really liked the concept.

No one knows a future update might but it could be one of those games that never gets fixed, it's strange because it's not one platform that has a problem it's all of them, so it's basically up to the devloper if they can be bothered to fix it

It's not nearly as bad as the reviews make out.
Playable at least.
Just don't expect a CoD level of polish.

Best part about it is that you get to play timesplitters 2.

Homefront is actually meant to be good. The problem is the performance of the game is godawful. Hitting 0 (ZERO) frames per second whenever the game autosaves (which is all the time). The rest of the time, it is always under 30FPS. Can never hit a steady 30.
Such terrible performance will of course create equally poor word of mouth, and so the game is bombing. Hard.

If it's like the beta then yeah it's terrible sadly, had high hopes for it as the concept was something I enjoy.
