There are very mixed reviews for this set, I would read the reviews over at Amazon before taking the plunge.
Great price though, so heat added for those that want it, def the cheapest to date.

Several reviews state that they got the set for £10 so I think I'll wait for that price again!

They're great especially 3 but I'd prefer ALL of the Hellraiser films in a box set - skipping 4, of course, which basically looks like an Emmanuelle film.

Some of the straight to DVD films blow 2 and 3 away.

True. Inferno was extremely good, in the hands of a better director it would have raised the series profile again rather than living at Seagal depths

Is the third film even worth it? I liked the first one a lot and the second one was OK.I'm guessing it's a descending order of quality.

Personally I really like the third one. Probably because it was the first one I saw as an impressionable kid, but it's got some solid mayhem to recommend it.
It's kind of similar to Nightmare On Elm Street 3, where Freddy was a full-on wise-cracking celebrity icon and the kids all had powers. Basically the cheese is dialled right up with much less focus on the grimy roots.

Still got my old dvd set that was shaped like the Lament Configuration, i don't really need to see films like this in 2k quality they're supposed to be kinda muddy not pristine clean.

I'm guessing you were under age and managed to get it out from the video shop?
The main premise is cool, with him in the statue etc, but it's so camp!

Um no I just really like the film. Are we really getting all snotty over a pretend man with nails rammed in his head....

I have this collection and it's really good, great quality. The only one missing is Deader (happens to be one of my favourites but can't get it on bluray).
I also have the trilogy advertised here and it's excellent quality too. If you like Hellraiser you can't go wrong with either collection IMO.
