Does the £5 come off automatically? Doesn't seem to apply to mine and my beauty card is registered on my account.

Got the Tria 4X laser which although is more expensive works much better than these IPL devices.

Thanks OP ordered. Good for the wifey and possibly myself ... I read you can buy cheaper gels with the same ingredients for use with this machine. Any recommendations?
this came from Amazon reviews......seems A LOT cheaper

My wife had professional IPL, spend probably £2000+. The results appeared to last a few weeks. She then switched to laser, after a 6 or so treatments, she was hair free and now goes for the occasional top up every 6-12 months. The very few hairs that do come back are barely visible. I/she would not recommend IPL, laser gives you lasting results.

This. Also if this isn't safe for darker skins, any recommendations for ones that are?

Is that safe for darker skin? Some say 'don't use on dark skin'

better than paying £4 per fortnight to get them threaded lol

I have a Boots one, not this, but my one from Boots seems to work - I've only used it 3 times and already the hair is a lot more sparse! Can't speak for this though; I find Venus products crap usually, when compared to Wilkinson Sword etc!
