I've recently been at japan and bought a number of import games with no way of playing them, so i needed a freeloader.
This is the best price I could find after I a little search on amazon and ebay etc
Might help someone else.

Yeah I had that too. Total pain. There's a guide on reddit about removing it, as well as guide for installing Nintendont "Why you should not install Dios-Mios..."

Also get Nintendont. Played Luigi's Mansion in proper widescreen over the last week, fantastic.

Why buy a Freeloader when you can be one?
I don't mean to be 'that' guy, but where the Gamecube is concerned, all of the best games cost a small fortune online, so emulation is the best way to play those classic titles.
The OP may have gotten a good deal/prefer the Japanese artwork on the games he picked up, but for the rest of us, being stung for £130 for Fire Emblem (current Amazon UK price, for example) is complete madness.
Rant over.
Not a bad price for the Freeloader though. Have some misdirected heat.

some people like to play GC games on an actual GC instead of an ugly Wii with GC controller and Memory card awkwardly attached to it..just saying.

you went to japan and they still sold gamecube games? And you bought them knowing you couldnt play them? I mean that whole story sound all kinds of fishy to me even so this will be good for somebody as this things old and to get a new copy for under £10 is good.

Japan sells all kind of retros including DC and Saturn. I've bought JPN games from there but then I do have a missed import console

Let's see if you receive it first. Gameseek has a tons of antique stuff on their website. You pay them and will never receive them because they're not actually in stock.
