It was the same in the Sheffield branch, as they were on the end aisle, although it does tell you that in the app I think?

Heat added BUT you have to question what the remaining 58% of this product constitutes. Ugh. Aldi do very reasonably priced sausages with 90 PERCENT pork content.

Ingredients: Pork (42%), Water, Pork Fat, Rusk (Wheat), Starch (Potato, Wheat), Vegetable Protein (Pea, Soya), Less than 2%: Salt, Yeast Extract, Flavourings, Stabilisers: Diphosphates, Guar Gum, Antioxidants: E300 & E307, Preservative: Sodium Metabisulphite, Colour: Cochineal, Casing made from Beef Collagen.
I wouldn't normally choose sausages with such a low meat content, but they're usually very tasty, so I'd happily munch them for free. Just a shame I couldn't find any in Hanley Tesco.

I can confirm there is a stash in Tesco Roundhay, end of the aisle

Urgh... Richmond, even my dog won't touch these after a good sniff. Don't know what goes in them but they look proper minging in a way that no other sausages do! :disappointed:

Shouldn't this be in the freebies section?

No. You have to pay for them and then only get them free after you make a successful reclaim, and then only if/when you build up £20+ to reclaim; otherwise only 95% free.

Bloke who lives opposite me runs/owns a sausage factory. I won't eat anything else now.
Mainly cos their at neighbours rates (i.e. free)
But heat anyway for the price.

I dont know anybody who eats these. With dry goods you can at least give to a food bank.

Richmond sausages ! I wouldn't eat them even if they pay me.

It is gross, but with the right seasoning, filler and spicing you can make most sludges palatable to some. The old chicken nugget evolvement is a classic example...

A tip for finding these as were shown by the App's map as being in my Extra store and I couldn't initially spot them:
they were NOT in the Sausage aisle area, but in the end-of-aisle cabinet - presumably a 'featured' new product (as not showing on Richmond's own website).
Yeah, pretty much the lowest of the "branded" sausages - and you can bet that the pork used isn't prime cuts, most likely mechanically reclaimed meat (sludge) that needs cochineal as a colouring agent to make it look more appetising.

Yes they are free after cashback and I do not eat Richmond Products either as I prefer a quality product so I'll be donating these...

I assume they are free with check outsmart, even so (and I love a bargain) I would not eat them even if I was paid. Good find though for those those who don't mind.

And the meat quality is low. If you look into who makes them their range of food is really poor quality. Just saying for info.
