Not seen the film. Also, Not my genre. Great price for a film only 4 months old.
Updating the events of Mary Shelley's classic Gothic novel to present day Los Angeles, Frankenstein sees a married research couple create Adam, a human being created artificially through a 3-D printing process. However, it quickly it becomes clear something very wrong has happened in his creation, and Adam starts to deteriorate, leading his creator to reject and abandon him. Left alone and afraid, he discovers the wonders of the world but also the darker vulgarity of humanity that hides behind the sheen of respectability

Yeah - different movies. Not sure if I would bother with the sequels of Darkman - seem much like the straight to video sequels of From Dusk till Dawn & Starship Troopers etc.

Really enjoyed this version though may be biased as Bernard Rose made two of my favourite films of the late 80s/early 90s period that was really strong for horror anyway (Paperhouse and Candyman). Pet-lovers be warned though, it may get upsetting :disappointed:

Candyman. Great nostalgia and with Liam Neeson's (required) over acting it's unforgettable.
Can't see those drinking bird things without this in mind.

Decent film. it is low budget so and quite slow paced but it's a modern version of a classic story.
