Every now and again these flights drop in price and I know they are from Dublin but as it's so accessible I think they are worth posting at this price.
Less than £90 one way from Dublin is a bargain in my opinion and St John's is a place that is certainly on my list. I'm sure someone will come back and say there is nothing there but if you look at car hire and research it properly I think it looks like a lovely place. The screen shot below is based on 2 adults price. Flights are with Westjet who are reliable and I've flown with them a few times on domestic routes in Canada.

Gotogate has pretty poor reputation if you Google reviews....anyone have experience...basically when looking at Kayak I always ignore them for that reason

Is that the general advice nowadays...I must say you look around and I try book with the airline.....however done a couple of trips lately with Expedia and Opodo...obviously big names ...but again if.you look on trip advisor you will see loads of advice to avoid all online travel agents for flights

I used them last year for flights to Italy. Then I saw the reviews! I have to say I was thinking the worst but all the flights went without a hitch. Gotogate text me gate changes etc, unfortunately sometimes I didnt get them till later due to poor connection in airports but you check the screens anyway so no probs. I wouldnt hesitate using them again.

If you Google many OTA you will see poor reviews, I doubt many people write reviews when all goes well! I've used many of these agents, Budgetair, GotoGate, Cheapoair, Expedia and more. Many times with glitch and open jaw flights and never had problems with bookings. Of course with glitch and error fares I've had some cancellations but then that's to be expected, but this isn't a glitch or error, just cheap so I see no reason why you shouldn't have problems.

Super price to fly across the Atlantic.
Better not try driving to Toronto in a hire car though, it's another 2000 miles away :stuck_out_tongue:

It's cheap because no one wants to go to St John's. We all want to go to Toronto.

I've only flown them on a domestic route but they were on time and did the job. I've flown far worse economy such as Air Europa or Iberia on 6-7 hour flights.

Dublin is not in the UK. Not since 1922, unless I've missed some recent news.

No news missed. Dublin is still not in the UK. That said, Dublin airport is easily accessible by 2 million UK residents in Northern Ireland. Verily, this is a hot UK deal.

Price seems to have increased quite a bit (in percentage terms). Now up to £220 with Skyscanner for the same dates.

The original deal's gone now but there are still some good prices around the same time. Look into going Dublin out and flying back to Gatwick. Those prices are still near the £200 mark and you don't have to sort a flight back from Dublin if you're in the UK.
