Don't recall seeing this reduced on the 360 before.
I really enjoyed Far Cry 3 and this looks like more of the same.
Will be even better if it became backwards compatible.

Of course it's going to be better graphically on xbox one and a decent PC. But it is still a good game on 360. I'm not a fan of the far cry series but I didn't notice any issues due to the hardware it's being played on. I don't yet have a one mainly due to the fact there arnt that many games I want to play badly enough to justify it. All I'm saying is the 360 is still in my opinion a very capable console.

I'm hardly a snob my '£300' Xbox One was actually £120 on eBay, if you shop around you can get them way under rrp. Add to that I have all current consoles (and many past) and starting gaming on the Atari 2600 and Spectrum so I'm hardly an Xbox snob.
Yes, the 360 has many great open world games, and they include the far cry series too. I love my 360, I'm merely saying the Xbox 360 IS an old console, 11 years old actually, that's an extremely long time in technology terms and while no Spectrum, in terms of computing power it is probably rivalled by a £100 smart phone, a £200 one would probably beat it with ease.
It's an old console, a very good console but a old one too and hence AAA games, which also have a PS4/Xbox One release are likely to be (far) weaker on the 360 (and PS3) where they appear at all. Just look at the fact that the last two COD games had no campaign in their last gen releases and compare Forza Horizon 2 between Xbox One and 360.
I'm just saying this game, while decent on 360 I'm sure, is probably a significantly better experience overall on PS4/Xbox One or PC. Nothing controversial just plain hard fact, which it seems some hot headed HUKD members cannot process....

It's £4.94 for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. This price is shown on the right hand side of the screen if you scroll down.

That would make a lot of sense if it wasn't absolute claptrap.

I'd suggest it was, as though it pre-dated the PS4/Xbox One there was still a PC version, which was in all probability the 'master' version, which was then optimised for the consoles...

What are you on about?? Far Cry 3 wasn't a "conversion" on the PS3/360

Cheap sure, but I would always be wary of buying a demanding open world game like this, that was probably made for current gen systems on last gen consoles as there are likely to be some pretty big graphical compromises and while I always rate gameplay over graphics, you kind of need both for a convincing open world game...
That said, I believe the PS3/360 got a very good conversion of Far Cry 3 so it may actually be very good.

LOL!!!!! What in the world are you talking about. It's out on Xbox 360 not a zx spectrum. The 360 has some tremendous open world games. I'm sick of Xbox one snobs trying to justify their £300 spend to themselves

They published FC4 for XBox One, so there's little sense for BC.

Everything's possible. They made saints row 4 backwards compatible.
