Has a very heavy duty single 12v rail, which personally isn't to my taste (for many reasons!) but some people like that for power hungry GPUs.
Black Coloured PSU with a 135mm Silent Cooling Fan
Equipped with a Single 12v Rail Delivering upto 61 Amps
Equipped with 4 x 8pin PCI-E Connectors for Graphics Cards
10 year warranty too!
A lot of watts for the cash from a very good manufacturer.

I always think how bizarre items like this must seem for the 30 something housewives that browse this site.
If I didn't know about building PCs I'd be like WTF is that for and why is this power supply for something so expensive!?

Where did you see 10 year warranty? only asking because I thought it was only the G2 and P2 models that came with 10 year warranty.
I apologise... this is apparently the G1 model, wish ebuyer put the manufacturer model number on things more clearly... I thought it might have been a lower model that's only 5 years.. this indeed has a 10 year warranty
That tells you about all their power supplies and warranties for their 750W models.

This you mean? in very small letters?
I mean have it where it is very clear which model it is.

Brill price, but this is a few years old now. Sure, it's well made with all Japanese caps, etc. But more modern PSU's fans power down when not under load, etc. Reviews seem to state this is quite noisy.
Heat added but I think I'd rather spend a few quid more on the refurb Corsair RM750X on Scan:
Not sure about this wattage noise, but the 1000W is absolutely silent, l have to check that is actually, on, now the r9 290x on the other hand (l`ve heard of the supersonic jet taking off. and always thought, surely it`s an exaggeration, Lord almighty, the noise, and the heat, coming from a gtx lightning 770.,which in comparison barely breath, l don`t know if l can cope with noise or am l doing something wrong?)
l bought the corsair before the EVGA, and honestly, EVGA win hands down and love the silent/eco mode button that virtually makes it silent.
There is a website that names every single PSU and who actually makes them and the rating, so informative, and for the life of me can`t find t again, does anyone knows?

Nice deal considering not long ago i purchased a 430W 80+ White for £40. 750W 80+ Gold is a beast, nice deal and heat added.

wouldn't touch them, had 2 go bad within 2 months for customer builds, evga cs best ever but go for a gs or g2 worth the extra 10 or 20 quid

No idea about quality of PSU - cold cos it's eBuyer... who will never be forgiven in my household for their dodgy handling of under warranty returns.

Those specs on the eBuyer site are wrong, surely? They are showing 80A (4x 20A) on 12V (960W), whereas on the EVGA site it says 61A (732W), which is closer to the 750W touted.

Dunno, could be a peak rating. You wouldn't expect it to cope with that load for long.

Are the 750W G2 worth the extra £££??

Looks like this NEX-G is Tier 3 in the TomsHardware PSU tier list. G2 is Tier 1 for comparison. Had a G2 myself - cracking, silent unit - so I would recommend that one if you have the extra dolla.
sure it is have one on my main gaming PC running for 3 years and now changed my cables to sleeved looks awesome

If you can find it for a good price then yes. The G2 has a eco mode where the fan stops on low loads.

Just register the serial number on the EVGA site and you will get your 10 year warranty.
As stated above, this is the older G1 model and the G2 is definitely a big step up. I'll leave it for others to determine whether the extra price is worth it though.
It's cheap and not terrible, but personally I'd want a GS or G2. They're made by Seasonic (KM3 platform) and SuperFlower (Leadex platform) respectively and are both better PSUs than this one.
Your PSU is likely to last you years, so why not pay a little bit more and get a top end, "tier 1" model?
I'm not voting either way on this.

You might be on a budget. This would be more than adequate for a budget gaming build, PC gaming is about flexibility and the money you save on this could be used on a better GPU.
This is still a solid PSU and has a 10 year warranty. It'll be hell of a lot better than 99% of pre-builds out there. I personally think it's a very hot deal. Besides, I can't remember the last time I was disappointed by a EVGA product, they are way above someone like Corsair in terms of quality.

I stand by the extra few quid for a GS or G2 being worth it. Whilst £30 is a relatively high percentage increase in cost, that doesn't change the fact that to anyone spending money on relatively high end PC parts, £30 likely (hopefully...) isn't a lot of money in absolute terms.
Being better than pre-builds isn't anything to shout about; they're usually at best using Corsair CX PSUs and at worst some unbranded rubbish which isn't fit for purpose. I'd hope anyone building their own system would be using a better PSU than 99% of pre-builts.
By no means is this a bad PSU, hell, it's a good PSU, it's just too close to the really good stuff (namely the GS and G2) in terms of absolute expenditure for me to recommend people purchase it.

£30-40 is the difference between a i5-6400/i5-6500 and having an i5-6600K. It's also getting close to the difference between having a high-end R9 380 and a R9 390. As I said, for a budget this PSU is not only good but probably actually even overkill.

Neither require a 750watt PSU, so better spending similar amount on a 650 or 550 watt GS or G2.

It's fine for a budget PSU, but with 750w to play with and an 80 Plus Gold rating there'll be plenty of people who consider using it for not so budget systems.
As a CX600M etc replacement, it's brilliant. More reliable, longer warranty and a higher efficiency rating. However, compared to other 750w PSUs from EVGA it's just not that good and for people who have modern systems which genuinely require this much power. They would be much better served with a GS or G2 and have their wallet £30 lighter.
For what it's worth, if you're willing to wait for a better deal, you can get a 750w GS or G2 for a lot less than ~£100. I got an 850w GS from Scan (via their eBay store) for £85, which I was rather pleased with.
The the G2 and GS models are brilliant, the GQ models are good as well, but I wouldn't even touch this unit.

If you could buy it..."out of stock", it around £80 + del at most suppliers. Every little helps.

Yes saw that myself yesterday; if it had been a Tier 1, i.e. the G2, I'd have been all over this. As it stands my Enermax is actually better rated than this - albeit it's neither modular nor gold standard. I'll hang on a little longer!

If this was a 750w G2 for £67, which unfortunately it isn't, it would be an amazing deal.
As it stands, it's a "tier 3" PSU which happens to have a very long warranty and is a very good alternative something like a Corsair CX600M.
According to JohnnyGuru's review of the 650w version of this PSU, it only just scrapes its Gold efficiency rating anyway, so I wouldn't be too concerned about that assuming this unit is based on the same platform.
Really good deal. I have the 750Watt 80+ bronze for last year and a half and no problems so far.

Yeah, I know. HUKD some reason chopped out the other half of my frickin message. I hate it when that happens. I got 2 years, because it wasn't from an authentic dealer even though it was from them. Stupid warranty loopholes. Either way, I said that this deals amazing and I'm really jealous
