Saw a few of these today at my local B&Ms, packaged as Eveready brand but look and feel identical to the Mr Beam spotlights that I already have. Also take 4x D cell batteries and have the twin LEDs with motion sensor. I already have the Mr Beams version and been very pleased with them, paid £32 for twin pack off Amazon around 18mths ago but never seen them this cheap individually or in a twin / triple pack.

They are very good (I have the Mr Beams one), but beware they are very sensitive and ended up getting rid of the one at the front of the house as even if the short shrubs 6 foot below it blew a little it would go off and ended up having to recharge the batteries once a week.
The one I have down the alley is still going strong though as not much blowing around in front of that.

I have mine at the bottom of the garden where we have the wood store but no mains power, when I first bought them I fitted Duracell D Cells and they last just over 12mths, now i have replaced these with Lidl rechargeables and they have been charged just the once in 6mths, so fingers crossed 2 charges a year and I will be really happy.

Very happy with Mr beams and with its Chinese copy from Amazon. I'm using one of mine with three aa to d battery converter. Batteries last forever in those!

Would not try mr beams again bought a pack of 3 from amazon and 2 failed within the first 6 weeks,became flooded with water and stopped working even though there labbeled as outdoor lights ,the third light indoors in my garage is tempermental and comes on at will

Number 2, the best solar lights on the planet are Evo. Shop around for what model you like, but these badboys are built to last and produce the goods

I bought some EverReady branded garden solar light from B&M - a couple didn't work out of the box and the other 8 failed over a couple of months - absolute rubbish. Doubt they are genuine EverReady product - sounds like they're into the game of licensing any old shoddy manufacturer to use it on payment of a fee.

There are many other solar power lights and I think people only use lights in dark not in sunlight or day time. solar power only charges the battery.

The Evo ones are the same as others you can purchase on eBay, I've bought a few of both and they seem identical. Saying that the lights have been out around 12 months and both types are still working fine.

Just come away from the blackburn store empty handed... No stock.. This is the fourth time that I've attempted to purchase deals from B&M as mentioned on this website.... Never any stock. I don't know if it's just the blackburn store that's useless or the entire chain.... They won't be wasting any more of my time in the future..

Via eBay look for a 400 lumens solar light, for about £20 it looks like a triangle shape light, very bright easy to install. I have 5 of them

Put them up tonight and all work fine, they are actually as bright as a cheap LED mains powered sensor light I brought from Maplin.
