its a good job the Three / O2 merger has been blocked by the European Commission, because if O2's pricing is anything to go by, overall with less competition the new merged company will most likely increase prices for consumers and not give two hoots about it.
There is still some common sense in the world after all!

Hot! however I've just got a BT sim only deal with 20GB, BT WiFi hotspot, BT sports lite, unlimited minutes & texts for £20 (£25 if you're not a BT customer). £35 cashback via quidco and a £40 amazon voucher which is as good as cash depending on the things you buy...
it seems to me as if sim only deals will be coming down, there seems a general downward trend, with the likes of iD etc offering dirt cheap stuff...

I'm on ee with unlimited talk and text with 16GB data for £16. But this is still a good deal as you need to account for how much is a 8GB 4G sim only tariff is normally. Also with cash back is a nice touch.

But EE just finished a deal of 16GB for £20 last month unlimited text and minutes
so i would wait for a better deal

Anyone know what happened to o2 sim only prices? My favourite network by far - but their prices are so much higher and no cashback, discount or redemptions deals to be found anywhere??

It's very frustrating - I use tugo religiously so am tied to o2 and can't get a good deal as an existing user

I get 80Mb/30Mb on 4G which is faster than my 40Mb Sky Fibre, but I have only 4GB data allowance, once they get the data allowance in the 100's of GB's then I'll be sacking off my rip off landline and Fibre connection.

BT keep changing their offers weekly. I got it a few months ago when it was £16 a month and £40 Amazon voucher and £40 quidco. SO its all swings and round abouts really.

EE has wifi calling, no app needed. As long as you have an iPhone, recent Nexus or an EE android phone.

slightly better deal on Quidco as same tariff pays £73 cashback (but not guaranteed)

that is definitely a handy feature, but I use it to run my business line through my main phone if i not carrying both. as far as i can see, none of the various options through other networks allow me to do anything remotely comparable.
that said, i did check the upgrade options and did have the best offer for the last few months today, 2gb/1000 mins for £15.50

I don't think this is much of a deal. The takeover of moneysavingexpert by moneysupermarket is really showing here. As other posters have said, BT and various MVNOs regularly have better deals and retentions teams frequently offer much better deals. I recently took the Vodafone Red deal with 20GB and Netflix/Spotify which with cashback worked out at less than £10 per month. £16 for 8GB isn't in the ballpark.

I rang EE and took this deal over the phone. The £70 MasterCard was confirmed and I was told it may take up to 28 days to receive it. It's a good deal for a new customer considering its over 12 months. I'm with o2 and their coverage has went to crap over the last year.
For the equivalent of £16.16 a month, it's hot from me.

If you like O2 just get a GiffGaff sim and £20 a month gives you unlimited everything. Same as Asda mobile. Which piggy backs EE. Simples!

Do you think that quidco pay anything if I use code for £70 Mastercard?

Unfortunately ASDA Mobile is 3G only. The only EE piggyback network that offers 4G is BT Mobile.

o2 customer service is incredible. Tugo is prob the best app out there from any of the networks... but they not even giving a single quid off when I speak to retentions...
Not a single redemption deal available for o2 anywhere....
My 12 month sim has only just finished...and I hate paying full price each month now..
