This isn't the new small ball. The small ball doesn't have a model number it's just called a small ball. I just brought one from power direct and saved £80 on currys price

Don't think anyone has said it is the new small ball? I wondered what the differences are between the new small ball and this but not come up after a google. Bought one though as its a good price imo.

Mainly suction power but you also get different accessories and features e,g the animal is designed for pet owners etc. You'd be best to go to the Dyson site and have a look otherwise you may end up paying for features you don't need :wink:

Saw this yesterday at half price on Tesco direct and also included in the clubcard boost...... think it was fractionally cheaper there with obvious benefit of using points.

£184.50 on Tesco direct but clubcard vouchers are able to be used through the current boost.

A few people asked if it was the new small ball. John Lewis also has the new small ball at a great price. I tryed them out at currys at the weekend and the new small ball is great. The only difference between the multi floor model and the animal is the extra attachment. Aside from that there are exactly the same. Hope this helps someone

Just to warn people the code can only be used once.I've ordered two separately.The first one was £160 and the 2nd was 199.Rang up and cancelled and was told it was only to be used once per account.I don't know it means eBay or PayPal account.

I have had this for nearly 3 years. Cord is too short to do the downstairs of my house, previous vacuum had no issue with this. Struggles to pick anything up on hard floors so you have to tilt the head up and place it directly over the bit that needs picking up, usually it just sends bits flying everywhere - would actually be quicker to bend down and pick them up. The hose is the biggest pain, it's so fiddly to get in and out and the vacuum is constantly falling over whilst trying to use the hose. I love the ball and the size of this Dyson, it is effortless to turn round corners etc but in hindsight I would have gone with another brand or possibly one of the other styles with a long hose. Reading online reviews I'm definitely not alone with these issues!

Read quite a few reviews just like yours but many more that loved it. The points did put be off but still ordered one. Nearly went for the Sebo felix which was same price and ha great reviews.

To be honest though it will be a massive upgrade to the very poor vax upright and the cheap corded bullet type vac I use currently.

personally have Clubcard vouchers but couldn't justify buying from Direct when this deal is just under £25 cheaper in price and also has £10-£20 of Nectar points (depending on how you value the points)

​Try turning the brush bar off for hard floors. thus will stop stuff flying everywhere. i have the Dyson extension house for mine and it gives it very similar reach to a full size one.

I think it's eBay that gives you the points.

I saw the same 'There's no balance left on this code.' message a few hours ago. I contacted ebay via the chat function and the guy's response was "That's a bit strange. Please stay with me while I discuss this with my colleague." He then said he'd email me once he found out what's happening... Not holding out hope!

I'm guessing the voucher code proved to be hugely popular and they've consequently used up their allocated amount of discount to offer customers; bit annoying seeing as it was supposed to expire on 30/05/16.

I contacted ebay and this is the response they provided:

We have escalated this issue to our technical team and they have confirmed that there are some technical issues with the voucher, that is the reason few members are unable to use the voucher.

For anyone who has tried to use the coupon but not checked out, will receive a follow up coupon for the same value, within the next 14 working days.
