Or maybe it will just play 100 times better on a Wii U, with a Wii U controller and some people consider that worth paying for?

Good news. Thanks. Maybe it will be part of a Humble Bundle at some point. If I hadn't bought it for PS3 already, I would probably get it now. But I will rather wait for a cheaper price.

Not going to bother with Duck Tales though :man: hope Mario Kart 8 comes onto the rewards this month... 40% off would be sweet. They have some good titles in the rewards section.

Is this just Duck Tales the NES game?
And what does the remastered mean in real terms, the music has been funked up a little and the graphics sharpened slightly?
Genuine questions here, thought about buying it when it was about £4ish about half a year ago, but couldn't quite persuade myself.
They *** up the game.
There are now cutscenes. And voice acting. And the music is meh. And the controls don't work as well as on NES.
It's a shame, that they don't release the NES original.
I played it on PS3 and it even froze at least once per playthrough. And there is a trophy, that requires you to complete it on the highest difficulty. And you can't save on that difficulty. Great job urgh.
I would possibly grab it in case they lowered the price a bit more. To play it with a proper digi-pad. No idea, if the Wii U version has freezing issues as well.

Yeah, I know it's not free for the Wii U, so why is it hot to pay for it when it's free on a system most people probably carry around in their pocket?
Or free on a system a large number of people have plugged into the tv they use for kodi.
Horses for courses I s'pose.
Hope they enjoy paying for the same pleasure.

That did indeed answer my question well. Fair enough it looks like a good remastered game, done properly, will be buying.
It's really not :disappointed: played a couple of levels and had to turn it off. They were all a bit crap really. Affordable Space Adventures was okay, I suppose.

One of the best modern 2D games released in recent years! Up there with Muramasa, Dragons Crown, Child of Light, and South Park Stick of Truth!! ^_^
Must own imo! Shame it only got a physical release on Wii U in USA.

Another very good deal is Resident Evil Revelations, £7.99 (Wii U) or £7.49 (3DS) - thanks to Buzz for pointing this out in post 4.
