Pretty sure the 2nd sim is 2G only and 3 don't operate on 2G to best of my knowledge.

The X6 Pro arrived yesterday. Seems well enough built so far. Have a major problem sending Skype video messages. Second sim seems to have a life of its own.... I have almost full signal on sim 1 and zero on sim 2 but both are from 3 mobile.....?

Well I just bought an X6 Pro on eBay for £50.99. Let's see if it should be known as Doogee or Dodgy when it arrives.....

Interesting to see some Ali deals on here now.
A trawl of Kimovil should find some similar phones at this price, it's about the standard price for a 3G 8G/1G HD phone these days.
Maybe spend about a fiver more for double RAM and ROM:
Luvvvvvvvvvvvvvv'ing the various sexy colours of these phones too mind ..... very nice, lol. :-)

that is already in play on some other Doogee models..

Huh? Think you need the iBone hukd threads for that.. this is £100+
mobile for £38.. not a £100+ mobile for £700 ;-)
>>>>>
TBH not really worth the price difference, the 5.5" screen on the X6 is squished out
further at the same HD res as the X5 with the 5" screen, also the X5 is great for one
handed operations and the like, the X6 just feels a bit clumsy in the hand!
>>>>>
They are very well made for what they are, the manufacturer is a big player and they sell a
lot of mobiles each year ;-) Would rather have these to drop and then just rinse and repeat
with a spare, instead of an iBone @£600+ !

I can't comment none on the X5?, but on the X5 Pro it be GOOOOOOOOOD!, as from initial setting-up etc it was straight onto an X5 Pro Android 5.1 update via Wi-Fi!.
It's since hollered for the next X5 Pro Android 5.1 update via Wi-Fi again! .. & the second 'update' was well within a 3.5 Month window of the first initial one (the first update of which was literally straight away too!, so ..... )
The second update I've so far refused mind? (first batch of 5.1 is enough for now, as far as I'm concerned? .. & leaving the remainder of what's left of the 16GB internal memory for App's, Pictures, Movies, & stuff for now?). :-)

A failed battery doesn't make it a poor phone just like a blown tyre doesn't make your car a bad car!
The camera is probably as you would expect on a £40 phone. IMO everything else was more like a £140 phone.
I got the X5 Pro for not much more about 6 months ago. I had the same sort of reservations. DooGee Chinese Make? Cheap Price? Chinese website? But at the price I bit the bullet. Got to say. Good phone overall. Features good but the build quality is poor as the screen is now showing signs that it is on the way out (horizontal lines where the color is not as vivid). Not a problem yet but the screen is getting progressively worse. This is my second DooGee that potentially ends up not working as it should because of build quality: I had a DooGee latte that lasted 8 months before it became unusable (battery charge port that time). But if I get nearly a years quality use out of it before it jacks in because of hardware issues then at about £40 it has been a relatively good buy imho - but you pays your money you takes your choice I guess.

Good phone, bought for my daughter when her phone broke - meant as a temporary phone, she ended up keeping it. Camera is pretty poor but everything else up to par although had to buy a new battery after 6 months - cost £5 - as the first one suddenly wouldn't charge past 25%.

What consitutes a bad phone in your estimation, if a poor camera and battery failure give a good result?

I've had this phone for a few months now and it's as good as some of the higher priced mobiles on the market. I paid around £50 for this phone so this is a good bargain.

This is c£40 with a massive delivery time and poor after sales, you'd be better of getting the x5 pro with double the ram for £64 from Amazon, next day delivery with prime and better customer service etc, easily worth an extra c.£25
