Heat. Had a couple in the Ilkeston branch on Sunday. I picked up an oil filled one for £35, was only one left so didn't post as thought it might be a store one off.

Would people really pay ninety quid for a heater like this?

I do think DeLonghi is a better more robust heater, but that may just be me but im too tight to pay £90

nah, 2000/wat would zap my benefits in electric. I Prefer those 700w quartz heaters.

FYI a 700W quartz will not be any more efficient in terms of heating a room than any other electric heater at 700W of power... just because this is 2000w does not mean you will use more electric unless you have it on constantly at 100% power... but then it would use the same as a 2000w quartz on non stop lol

Heat, saw these in my local Dunelm late last year, there was something erroneous about the specs on the outer carton printing as I recall, great deal, don't stick it under any windows though!

Dunelm branches in London are always in places like Croydon and other outer boroughs. Nightmare to get to unless you live near a retail outlet.

They produce the same amount of heat per pound as any other electric heater (apart from storage heaters which cheat by heating up with cheaper electricity).

All electric heaters are similar effeciency as pibpob says.
Different kinds of heat however. Personally I find the way oil filled radiators disperse heat more helpful, and halogen lamps most unsatisfying, but it's largely personal taste.

4TB only but the NAS drive is pretty amazing once you install OpenNAS as the boot OS.
