Why do some of base.com games have some weird foreign text on the front and back of case cover.
To me it looks like European version?

Base.com sell some of their games through their Swiss operation. I think they may be a Swiss company with a uk distribution unit.

I wonder if they'll fix the game breaking bugs? Probably not. Wasted money on the second game which was full of crap bugs.

A breath of fresh air compared to a re-released game though.
If my friends pick up this one (DI) I probably would as well. It's still quite a fun game.
PS: I recommend Dying Light over Dead Island but be prepared to buy some spare undies for that time you have to explore at night .

Dying Light is better, don't recommend this one.
But if you really need then wait for this to be cheaper

Yea PS3 is pretty much hacked with people with guns & weapons that are OP & unlimited ammo. Shame I didn't find this out till after I got the Platinum. Would of made it simple but where's the fun in that .

Generally if a remaster sells at a budget price they havent done much to remaster it. eg Dishonored, darksiders 2 , Definitley no 60fps Boost

Apparently it's only running at 1080p30fps, which is very surprising considering it ran 1080p90fps+, maxed, on fairly mediocre PCs when it came out.
I loved the first one, to start with. Then it got very repetitive after a while, never managed to complete it

Apparently it comes with a third game - retro revenge... looks like it will be ok... as a brucie bonus

is it remastered?

Yes.
Only played the first one & it was just okay so I don't think I'll get it. Very good price for two remastered games. Nice to see this instead of crazy prices like God of War 3 was £30+ when it first came out & that was just one game.

The words say, yes. But in games, that can mean anything. Best to find a comparison.

Picked this up for £14-15 from Brazil.
Shame the release is end of May/start of June.
So many good games before then (which could still be taking over my life when this is released!)
