I thought the idea of Father's Day is for children to show appreciation of their Dad - not for fathers to be dragged along to a theme park aimed at children.

My children really enjoyed Gulliver's Matlock when younger, it is very hilly though, so unfit dads and grandparents might struggle.

Good deal if you are a family but rubbish if you are a single Dad, the deal states still have to pay for at least 1x adult and 1x child ticket before being able to get the free Dad ticket :disappointed:

I've contacted them in regards to this, they insist aslong as a full paying person, or: including a child is accompanied then the father is free..

These are all a scam to get fathers to bring their consumerist kids to their gift shops. The pub is free entry. Take your Dad there for a pint and a nice meal instead (hope my daughter is reading this :smile:).

The language they use is when accompanied with a full paying person. Can this be a child? Otherwise they should clearly state it should be a full paying adult?!
