What sets are worth buying in the offer? Anyone found any good sets with a decent discount?

Guess this is why they've just massively bumped the prices up on Lego City train sets then! :disappointed:
Was just about to buy LEGO City Cargo Train 60052, it was £104.97 and now it's £139.99!

Yep, I had the Ninjago Final Destiny set in my basket, was going to buy, then noticed it had gone up to full price again. All other prices are now retail price as well. Cheeky b*******.

Got my bounty at £68, pretty peeved though as I went back for 3 other sets and was too late!

And me, had a set in my basket waiting for my Clubcard vouchers to show so I could double up and have just gone to purchase and find it has increased by £10 overnight. Will go elsewhere now.

The vouchers were added to my account @ 12 midnight so I managed to use them before the price hike.

I did this last time and it was a great deal. Not a good deal for me this time. I want the star wars xwing and millenium falcon. Both are full RRP, in fact the xwing is £70 and you can get it for £49 elsewhere. Same with the falcon.

Good for you. That'll teach me not to go to bed early.

I bought the High Speed Train 60051 from here last week for £65, and it's now £100, and I used my £13.50 worth of vouchers (doubled to £27) to buy the Train Station 60050 which was £37 and is now showing as £50!
I was going to wait until this week, but I'm glad I didn't!
Considering last weeks prices, and the fact that both of the sets I've mentioned can now be bought cheaper elsewhere (as can the majority of the sets that Tesco are now selling), this deal is cold!

Better to save the vouchers for Days out/rewards.
I managed to buy 2 x Dr Who Lego sets (plus 2 x 50p jugs) for £32.50 in vouchers yesterday by combining Boost and the spend £75, £10 off voucher. The Dr Who lego set is now £50!

Bought several Lego City / Marvel sets, basket total £69.95. Redeemed £35 of vouchers, got 1000 club card points back... So total cost to me: £25 worth of Clubcard vouchers for £70 of Lego.
These will go into the loft for Christmas!

Cold and cynical.
Firstly they bumped all the prices up to RRP and secondly there will be no more double up vouchers so at best it is £10 off £70 spend.

No double vouchers to use in store yes, but 4x points with partners is to remain, so potentially £40 off a £70 spend

Cheers, got myself a Big Bang Theory set and a box of bricks for the kids, maybe not the cheapest but I've got 1000 points and it cost me nothing! Had £40 of points to spend, and had a bad experience with vouchers getting lost in the post, so quite happy to spend it.

Had millennium falcon in the basket at 109.99 hot up £20 in 3 hours to full RRP. Robbing bar stewards...

Boost event started yesterday, I wasn't waiting for the new vouchers though as they normally do things like this. Bagged an arocs lego set for £26 cash in the end after boosting a few vouchers and the £10 off 75+ spend was still valid which was a nice bonus.

High speed passenger train at 8am was £74.99, by 1pm today it was £99.99 on Tesco as you only get the bonus points with Tesco and not third party sellers.
Unbelievable that they will increase prices in hours by 25% just because an offer is on.

It is more likely because the boost is on.

Its a combination of the 2. If anyone had ordered yesterday you'd have gotten the prices you've been seeing for weeks. While waiting for the new ones to arriveTesco have then bumped up the prices say £20 and effectively (if people still boost) wipe off a huge value of "debt" for free.

I bought the cargo train for £104 on Sunday, got £10 off and doubles my vouchers, only paid £39 for it

The Tardis set went from £37 to £49.99 but dropped back down to £35 yesterday so grabbed two sets for effectively £24.31 worth of Clubcard vouchers (after 1000 bonus points & 69 standard pts) or £12.15 each.
