I decided to go back and play the original Call Of Duty games, no longer having the originals disc releases I thankfully spotted Humble Bundle had the Warchest on sale including Call Of Duty, Call Of Duty: United Offensive & Call Of Duty 2. You may be able to grab this of say eBay pretty cheap but generally I can't see it much cheaper elsewhere.
I'm not sure how much love this will get with the games being as old as they are, but for a bit of nostalgia I'm looking forward to playing them again.

great games but seems a bit pricey for games that are over a decade old lol

I can certainly see your point, I did try and find out if they had historically been a lot cheaper as then I tend to just wait for the price drop again, eBay would have been another option but I think being impatient I wanted them now and this seemed the best option, i know it won't be for everyone :stuck_out_tongue:

There doesn't seem to be much data recorded on it. The historical from Steam is £9.79.
Not a bad price considering the price of the crap they're pushing out these days. Heated.

The pack used to be available on Amazon on sale for £4.99 quite a while ago. I'm pretty sure Amazon US had it up for $4.99 at the time too.

Call Of Duty games tend to keep their price for some reason. I think the publishers feel that if they keep the price of all games at a high amount, then people will feel they might as well buy the newest game each time they're considering a purchase.
But yeah, it is ridiculous that this is probably the cheapest the original game has been online!

@£2.50 per game with (from the blurb on the page) %20 of that going to charity can't really complain can we..

These are definitely worth it! I bought the warchest for the same price last sale and they are very good in comparision to what Activision bring out now!

Heated, great deal for classic call of duty games. Played all these to death first time round. Good old games from the time when the campaign was king and the multiplayer was secondary (if present) now the complete opposite unfortunately...

Oh man!! The Omaha beach level was something else when this came out. Also, seeing heat haze from the back of a tank blew me away as well. Seminal games these.

Did COD & COD UO install correctly as my friend has the original discs and he said something about having to put a folder that someone sent him to get the game to work... He said it also has a problem with Punkbuster... He didnt specifically say what the problem was...

Just to test them all three games installed and ran from their respective shortcut without issue, whether or not there are issues whilst playing through the campaign I can't answer that. I've also not seen anything around Punkbuster come up either.
