Not being halal is more reason to like Byron.

Doesn't halal mean the cow's throat is slit and it dies choking on its own blood? Why on earth would you want a burger from cows that suffered like that?

It's splitting hairs saying that eating a dead animal is any better because it dies a certain way. I eat meat and I'm fine with it. The 'i love meat but not halal' issue is just people being UKIPpy and we all know it.

True, but both sides are ridiculous when you think about it. One delusional, the other intolerant.

Yeah the troll was branded a troll instantly by a quick thinking forum member. But that wasn't enough and the replies started. It doesn't make you a religious fanatic to eat halal meat, we've probably all done it, often without realising. You for go the cruel argument when you eat animals anyway I reckon.

Great deal. Am down in Yorkshire, but we don't like to miss a deal, so we are on our way up.
And they say the Scottish are tight.
Can anyone put us up for the night?

But Jesus died and came back to life and turned water into wine etc. That's all fine and believable.
It's an odd religion, you have to admit, Christianity.

If you really think halal food goes to terrorism or whatever the tabloids tell you this week, you're probably not someone fit to be in the community unsupervised.

I'm personally of the belief that they're all crazy.. I was raised Catholic but as soon as I was able to think for myself I realised all you need to know really is 'just be nice to people' and that's pretty much it  religion causes does more harm than good but each to their own I suppose..

Oh and the whole coming back from the dead and water to wine isn't unbelievable? Jesus was just a magician way ahead of his time.. inconsistency is the main problem the the bible and why it couldn't possibly be the word of God! I'm not saying 'God' doesn't exist however.. Just that man has

The animal still dies one way or the other so being picky about how it dies is just a moot point. But again, that's what your religion believes in and the "right" type of meat to eat.
Comparing marrying a child to whine is a long stretch. A really long one.
I'm agnostic myself (do believe there's a superior being out there somewhere but not what religions depict it to be).

"It" probably exists but humans have proven to be horrible and unfair to each other that "it" just doesn't care at this point.

Was Mary supposedly 12 when she was pregnant with Jesus? I don't remember reading that? Weird.. That will be why the age of consent is still 12 in the Vatican City then! The lowest in the whole of Europe. It always got me when some bibles start with jesus's genealogy.. It goes, Jesus son of Joseph, Joseph son of heli etc etc but that makes no sense since we are also told it was a virgin birth? Why is Mary not mean ruined as such? And if we're all descended from Adam and Eve and they had two sons Kane and Able and both of them had wives.. Who did they marry? We can only assume that they married their sisters! It's all way to confused and riddled with plot holes for it to be 'the word of God' the list of inconsistencies is near endless  I always thought that religious people were people that mustn't have actually read the bible/koran/tanakh? Why does God insist on punishing children all the time? Why is he so confused? Why instead of taking Sunday off have a quick re-think? I'd bet if Satan exists then he is responsible for religion because no God of mine would require worshiping for being so lame.. But anyway 25p a burger! Have some heat

is pregnancy the only thing you can do when you get married?
it's 18, not 12 in Vatican. They changed it.
but yeah i agree, it's not all 1+1
