What happens if I take this BT mobile offer now and my BT broadband contract then expires in just a few months time. Will BT bump then up my mobile charges as I will then be a non-BT customer, or is it just being a BT customer at the time you took out the mobile deal all that is needed ?
Grateful for the help on this.

Not a bad deal but can't really account for Amazon/iTunes voucher as cash in the hand unless you regularly buy from these. Still, voucher aside, not bad 12 month cost for BT customers.

Not a bad deal? It's a flipping stonker lol. Some people on here should lighten up.
My son got the same. It's an absolute no-brainer for BT BB households.

Do you definitely get BT sport with this? If so, and you want BT sport, it would be cheaper to get this than pay £20 odd a month for sports (if you're a non BT customer).

I got this when it was £8 a month plus the £40 Amazon and £40 Quidco so total £16, or £1.33 a month, so not the best it's been, but still good.

For the BT wifi using other people's routers, what speeds do you get?
I appreciate every hotspot is different but if it's slow/throttled then there's no point.

does it really matter? hot spots arnt meant for people to be downloading large files just casual browsing...
for what its worth i locked my hotspot to 2mb download speed when i had fibre. in bt router settings if you want to have a hot spot active you can set it your self. or at least you used to be able to.

This may seem a stupid question but can someone confirm that I will be able to use the free unlimited wi-fi not only on my 'phone but also on my iPad and laptop computer. I am currently paying for BT wi-fi on a monthly basis as I live on a UK military base - I do not have a land line so can only access the internet by paying this way. If I could use my BT account as I have alluded to in this post it would be a cheaper option for me as I also pay monthly for mobile phone (with Lebara)... Any comments or suggestions?

Tried to sign up but gave up when came on to the bt sport package. I am not an existing customer so this is a dealmaker. Just not clear whether you get bt sport lite free for 12 months or bt sport app (with extra channels including bt sport europe for champions league) free for 3 months then £5 a month for the remaining 9 months. Either way still a very good deal. If anyone can give clarity that would be great. I tried the online chat without much success. Might end up signing up either way cos a very good deal.

seems like a good deal for the £10pm deal. I jumped on the BT Infintiy deal last year with £100 sainsburys voucher and £190 quidco and it paid out.
Just not sure if i want to get a 2 sim only plans as i might not be with BT come november when the fibre contract end, I am sure there will be other fibre deals to be had. Also got an email from BT yesterday saying my monthly fibre price is going up from £10 to £13 but i will be getting upgraded from 38 to 50 mbps, not that i really need that.

When you sign up all you need is landline number and address and their date of birth. Then put everything else in your name, next to the last confirmation page you can enter your direct debit details. It's a bit confusing at first as you think you are putting it under their bill, but you aren't. Have a look at the stages at the top.
I can't remember if I needed mothers maiden name, or if that's what I set up. Also worth mentioning they do a credit check, and you will also need correspondence to be at landline address.

Hey, can anyone help please? Really tempted with this deal, however not a BT household. Appreciate the non BT customer deal is still pretty good at circa £6.50pm (after voucher & TCB) but the extra £60 off is pretty appealing!

Opening post
BT Mobile are doing £40 gift card with a 2GB contract (500min, unlimited text, 12 month contract) and 2 months free...PLUS TopCashback
BT Customers:
2 months free = £0.00
10 months @ £10 = £100
GIft Card of £40 = £100 - £40 = £60
TopCashBack of £40.40 = £60 - £40.40 = £19.60
Total price for 12 month: £19.60 !
Equal monthly payment of £1.63 !
Non-BT Customers:
2 months @ £5 = £10
10 months @ £15 = £150 + £10 = £160
GIft Card of £40 = £160 - £40 = £120
TopCashBack of £40.40 = £120 - £40.40 = £79.60
Total price for 12month: £79.60
Equal monthly payment of £6.63
