I tried drinking this once, drunk dare during my misspent youth, not sure which is the worst though, the smell or the taste
I recall waking up the following morning & hurling up & all I could taste was brut, not one of my finest moments, you live and learn

Fact, as researched by Time magazine many years ago:
" NO PERFUME SHOULD COST MORE THAN THE BOTTLE IT IS PACKED IN "

Ouds are pretty subjective. 2 I recommend include Shay and Blue Oud Alif which costs £85 for 100ml. Thats the standard price everywhere, but it is also stocked in M&S online and I buy when they have one of their regular 20% off voucher codes for beauty.
My favourite oud is As Sawira by Penhaligans. This one is a parfum and very long lasting. It costs £150 for 100ml. Penhaligans have their own shops and London and Chester and are also stocked by other retailers.

Should be sprayed on dogs to make bitches run a mile. (and, bitches DO! ) Horrible stuff, we ought to campaign to ban it.

From the days when nice smells were only for girls and gays and overly, manly men had a choice of Denim,Old Spice,Hai Karate or Brut.

Aftershave smells different on different people, something to do with hormones and sweat. Start with something you like the smell of then ask other people's opinion on you. In theory the more expensive scents should last longer.

Can you recommend a really nice Oud? I've been checking out eBay but not sure which stuff is actually any good. It's cheap on there but need an expert's advice

They reformulated again about 2 years ago, it's still the same smell but it's so weak now that it's a waste of time. I have a couple of older bottles which are nice. I own lots of different fragrances from the likes of Hermes, Creed, Guerlain, JPG, Armani, Prada, etc but there's something special about Brut if you can get a good bottle.
