(Spotted at Hounslow West Branch, 288 Bath Rd, Hounslow West TW4 7DN, 4mins walk from my house but not telling you in which direction incase there are any muppet stalkers out there.) Not showing up on the website but was price marked in store at my local and I have receipt which I will upload. I presume it will be going live nationwide?

How do I upload my receipt?

Hi,
You will need to use an image uploading service like imgur.com . Once the image is uploaded the site will give you a link which you can use in your post to display the image

Thanks msmyth.
Sadly I don't use any such service and it's disappointing the side can't just let me upload the photo I took.
I'm going to celebrate my find with some whisky. Hopefully someone else can confirm the deal is live and upload the in-store labels I saw or the Iceland website will be updated before this is voted cold.

YES, real FAT!

I'm familiar with the concept of fat, thanks. Just it's a little too much in a mince for me...

24 May 161#15
Are you Malcolm Walker in disguise?
nacho99
24 May 161#16
Lamb is fattier than Chicken.
Normal minced lamb, beef and pork are around 20% unless it's reduced fat.
m5rcc
24 May 16#17
Plenty of butchers do 12%. My Waitrose does 15%. Sainsbury do 12% too on occasion.
nacho99
24 May 16#18
I have no idea about who Malcolm Walker is so lets stick to the lamb!

Yes you are right because there are lots of butchers who do 12%. Waitrose does 15%. Sainsbury do 12% too on occasion but are they 4 per KG? This is just Lamb mince and not trying to compare with the low fat or reduced fat items.

He sounds like a smart person who is probably worth millions.
Sadly I am only worth £47.56 at the moment.

As I said. The quality of Iceland's meat is awful.
However, each to their own.

I agree. Too many people forget about the whole natural foods and just think about fat while forgetting the damage the food industry does by processing everything they sell.

If people want less fat, drain it off midway through cooking it!!

But why do I need to do that when I can buy mince with less fat in the first place?

But fry mince with fat infuses flavour and then drain oil removes some of the day

If it was £1 been there done that, no gristle and personally, given the cost is half that of the lower % I will stick with the fatty stuff and drain it... Tastes good enough to me (with seasoning and flavours of course).
To me this is like the whole 'pasta sauces have loads of sugar... I make my own' when all sauces do as it comes from tomatoes etc. (Fat is natural to me)
But most importantly does this deal even exist for everyone else?

24 May 16#42
I would note the above is my view but if you don't want to drain the fat enjoy the other mince options

If you enjoy cooking mince that shrinks given most of it melts to a pool of fat, then no problem. I personally don't.

haha at people thinking that FAT makes them fat.. no darling.. excess calories makes you fat, whatever it comes from this ''terrible' 20% mince or your weightwatchers reduced FAT cookies which are 500calories per 100grams..or your favorite zero fat yogurt filled with 10teaspoons of suggar for the small pot...
Get real...

its amazing the amount of muppets on this site that post something, saying found at my local store without saying where -.like everyone else is supposed to know where that was
That's because this muppet thought this is a national deal.
I would never tell anyone on here where I live in case they are a muppet stalker

I would also like to add to these FAT makes them fat people.
When I was younger I use to eat lot's of hula hoops.
People use to say if I ate any more, I would become a hula hoop.
Decades later I've still not turned into a hula hoop.
So if eating hula hoops does not make you turn into a hola hoop., why is fat going to make you fat?
If it was that simple, I would only each nachos.
nacho99
25 May 16#53
Even if all the fat melts into a pool of fat, it's only 20%!
That's not most!
That's only 20%.
80% does not melt.
80% is greater than 20%.
So 20% is not most.
You may have just had a bad batch in the past in which somehow over 50% ended up being fat.
If that was the case, I can understand you not wanting to take the risk again.
nacho99
25 May 16#54

Maybe donkey or pony?

It's suitable for everyone who does not care.
Besides, there is far too much meat labelled as halal for it to all be genuinely halal.
sdutton007
26 May 16#64
Well, Christians, Sikhs and people that believe in animal rights all do care.
Unfortunately, Britain bends over backwards to the point that Brits have less rights than everyone else!
