My butler recently informed me that the staff shower was dribbling, I told him to splash out on a new shower head and requested that the shower head must be round or square, chrome plated and no more than £14.00 (amazon prime) - he excitedly reported back his findings: Square Head Round Head
5 year warranty too, splendid I said to him and gave him the necessary funding to acquire this, he reports that it works wonderfully. Good news all round.

Triple Camel reports it being at an all time low which is also splendid news.

As far as I'm aware, You get unlimited dry water when the shower isn't in use

Yes, good point, I'll add in something to help, ie 'shower head' (could've sworn I put that in)

Was talking to my mum about these, great shower heads but they get through a lot of water so people who like to keep their water bills down might get a shock.

In Scotland we pay a annual fee with cooncil tax, we didnt privatise the matter of all life...and yet duowwn suuth you managed to vote in again the very party that privatised the matter of all life lol
Move to EU for cheaper water, utilities and local authority tax before England privatises itself and you cant and you then are truly and utterly are a pome again

What a rip off, these heads can be picked up anywhere for £7 upwards. Bristan & unbranded abs heads do exactly the same job. They are made exactly the same, they are chrome plated the same, just one comes in a fancy box, the others do not. Check out Amazon / Ebay for unbranded versions. Save yourself even more money.

I've been had before by buying unbranded plumbing products (a terrible shower mixer and shower enclosure for example) so when buying online I go for branded to avoid possibility of buying useless crap. I'm not disagreeing with you but I've lost £100's by buying junk unbranded plumbing online in the past, never again!

ABS is plastic, these are cheap but not good quality. the shower head does not dictate the water consumption it pressure, though at 0.2 bar this will not deliver a great shower experience

I have this one (square model) and it gives good rainfall shower but I have a combi boiler so it is at mains pressure. It's not a high pressure washer like some compact shower heads can deliver though....but these are all rainfall types.

These fit onto an existing arm such as this one or maybe a retrofit version that uses an existing shower hose like this

You're gonna want good pressure if you use a plate like this. If you're contemplating attaching this to an electric shower, I would probably forget it!
My shower has a "monsoon" head. And even with good pressure from a combi, it's still a gentle shower compared to the normal shower head.

Yes you're right, I doubt this would be much use on a low pressure system but it works well on my particular plumbing setup of combi boiler and decent mains water pressure. It is a reasonably gentle flow of water compared to compact shower heads, but I don't want a super high pressure and my shower is made for 2 so gentle is better when scrubbing my partners back

Yeah. Mine is the same. Runs off a combi. Has a compact head for a high pressure shower. And a monsoon head (same idea as this) in the roof (I have one of these crazy shower cabins). Same as you, the monsoon part is gentle. But I've had electric showers in the past and a monsoon head would be useless on one of those. They just don't have the water throughput to make it worth using ....

would this be likely to fit any similar shower or only Bristan?
