All seven episodes of the blackly comic drama series starring Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher in the throes of a midlife crisis who discovers that he is dying from inoperable lung cancer. In an attempt to sort out his disastrous financial affairs he decides to turn to crime, and enlists the help of a good-for-nothing ex-student to set himself up as a crystal meth dealer. Episodes are: 'Pilot', 'Cat's in the Bag', '... And the Bag's in the River', 'Cancer Man', 'Gray Matter', 'Crazy Handful of Nothin'' and 'A No-Rough-Stuff-Type-Deal'.

Problem with this deal is its the best TV programme ever, but this is the worst season, very slow and you need to watch it and then by 3 episode of season 2 you will be ready for the amazingness that is Breaking Bad.

No where near, I had high hopes and an okay show with moments of Brilliance (and keeps hinting that it will be brilliant, but doesn't deliver).
Season 2 of BCS was pretty damn disappointing.
Breaking Bad is the GOAT though.

Well, it is still definitely worth watching, that's all I will say. I was just a bit disappointed. Looks good for Season 3 though.
Also when you do look in YouTube for The AV Club analysis of each episode of season 2 which did add another layer or two. Really great insights from them.

Season 2 of Saul was brilliant. You can see the timeline slowly falling in with Breaking Bad. Characterization, acting, dialogue, pacing and script all really good. I personally stand by The Sopranos as the greatest show of all time. I think it's become a bit of a cliche to say Breaking Bad is 'my favourite show'. Just like The Shawshank Redemption is a bit of a cliche as being the 'greatest'.
