I have the older GSR10.8, which I bought in 2006. Best tool I've ever bought, by far!

If you don't have a drill I'd say go for the 18v, cracking piece of kit.
If you already have a combi or sds drill I'd opt for the twin set, very handy little drills, the impact, even although its only 10.8v is a powerful tool.
I've had a similar set (with the torch as well) for a few years, perfect for diy and the impact driver is very capable despite its small size. Would definitely recommend, the batteries charge time is 30 mins ish as well, and replacements are cheap.

can't go wrong with Bosch professional range. only marginally more than DIY range , better build quality and comes with 2yr warranty which you can extend to 3 yr if register it on bosch website

these look great, combine with a sds corded and you would be able to do most things around the house. would be keen if I didn't have 6 drills already.
