I've bought a couple of these in the past, they're usually around the £10-15 mark. Never seen on at £5.99 before! Just picked one of these up for a mate.
Great little units - good sound, no echo AND they support several mobiles being paired at the simultaneously: handy if you have a personal mobile and work phone. If you buy one of these do check the manual, as there's a weird keypress combo you need to do to enable the multipoint pairing!

What a daft comment. So the rest of us without a decent car don't need it eh?

Congratulations on today's most ridiculous comment .If most newer cars have Bluetooth why do I see 90% of car drivers with phones in their hands in rush hour?

Hopefully this cheap price will encourage the idiots who still use their mobiles whilst driving to invest in this much needed safety kit.

Is this a "Supertooth" rebrand?

12 May 16#10
Looks similar to the supertooth brand. I had one of them but the iphone 6 built in speaker is better than this so I returned it.
Also, reviews of this specific one state that it automatically switches off after about 10 mins. Can be annoying as will have to switch back on if call is received.

Probably means when phone isn't paired with the device surely?
Currently using my phone loudspeaker but hassle having to swipe and then tapping loudspeaker while driving.

Assuming that what applies for you applies for everyone else is probably one of the reasons you support Ukip too.

Which isn't hands-free use of course (admittedly you'd be unlucky to be caught out but were you involved in an accident and this was raised your insurance co would most probably leave you high and dry).

See what your saying, it is distracting obviously though I only answer important calls and depends on the road ahead or I park to the side and call back.
I did order this device even though I have to check to see who's calling, reach out to the sun visor and press the button to accept the call!

I would like to get one of these for my father as he is often using his phone while driving.
unfortunately this does not fit the bill as I know he won't turn it on each time and won't charge it.
Ideally it should turn on when car does (it can be plugged in the lighter socket all the time) and pair with the phone automatically.
It would be great if it could connect to the radio, but his cars one doesn't have aux in, and he always listens to the radio so it should only kick in for a call.
Price is not an issue for this but it has to work perfectly.
I understand a bluetooth speaker would work but most wouldn't turn on automatically and or work while plugged in.
Any recommendations are much appreciated.

It looks like a Supertooth buddy. I have had a couple of those for 4 or 5 years. If it works for 12 months it is good value for money!!
The Supertooth version doesn't switch itself off after ten minutes, and despite daily use, they get charged once every couple of months.

Dont see any option to connect the sterio to this so that the sound comes thru the car radio... Not sure if it is used for something else?
philtownes9
13 May 16#41
This has got it's own built-in speaker and microphone, it doesn't connect to the car radio. It just clips on the sun visor, it's got a few buttons to let you answer calls, and adjust the call volume.
