had this, not a bad machine but obviously don't expect gaming performance... £129.99 is a fair price but not 'hot'

Can you update this to Windows 10? Because I've got one and I've tried it so many times and it keeps crashing? I've linked it with an Sd card as there's no space on the tablet itself

And it's very thin with a premium metal casing too.

The Z8500 is barely any better than the Z3735F - especially given that it is powering a 1080p screen.

CPU Passmark
Z3735 = 909
Z8500 = 1708
80% quicker in that benchmark... should be noticeable. Only for £20-30 more

My mistake, I was thinking of the Z8300 (the processor of choice in all the Chinese Windows tablets).
No a link to somewhere I can buy it for onl y £20-30 more.

Curry's did it for £150 but it has expired now. I see some refurbs pink ones eBay going at £160.
I'm waiting for the next deal as Haleuohao suggested earlier.

More adventurous members may wish to consider the Chuwi Hi10 or similar, it has way better specs (cherry trail, 4gb ram, full HD screen, full size USB on tablet). It's not for everyone as it's a china import, but some may be OK with that. See techtablets.com for more.

Having owned one of these for 2 years, I think it's a great buy, especially for this money. I never had any need for a faster processor for my use case (lets all be honest, you'll be using this for web browsing and MS Office work) but I did find that RAM resources ran low when using Chrome. That's more an issue with the Chrome implementation than the device though.
Sadly I managed to smash the screen on my one recently and as it was an early version, screens (the digitiser) are around £100 for it and there's no guarantee it'll work as well as it did after replacement. So I replaced it with a Surface Book. The T100 does exactly the same as the SB, I just have a larger screen to look at and I don't run into the RAM issue anymore...
I always laugh when I see benchmarks posted for these things. If outright performance really mattered, you'd not be buying one of these as that's not its USP.
Good deal OP.

yep - its not £149 any more which makes the argument that it was cheaper pointless
I went ahead and bought this rather than waiting an unspecified amuont of time waiting for a price drop that may or may not happen against a old product.

I have one.
OK for general Web etc. Keyboard is a bit 'calculator' . Unit is unbalanced as screen has most of the weight. Battery life about 8h. Takes ages to recharge.
Unit does feel a bit cheap
But then it is.

Depends what you want to use it for. For a Windows tablet it's great. If you'd rather a proper laptop, don't get rid
You can wait for another T100H promotion which is £139.99 and got better processor.

Where did you get the T100HA from for that price?
