If by dry, you mean drain, then they drain as fast as the ground underneath. If you mean dry...then I have laid them above a small concrete yard and they dry and drain fine. I was originally going to roll them up in the winter but didn't bother....so they've had 4 years of English weather.....and they've weathered fantastically, if you excuse the pun.

My father in law has his over his patio and is fine..
As for drain issue, he has no issues there either but I can't say specifically for this make, his still has good grip even in the wet

Do you still do this grass anywhere please

I just threw mine down like a roll of carpet onto a wonky concrete yard and it transformed it. Well worth the money for the aesthetics alone....:stuck_out_tongue:

it will cost at least that to get someone in to do it all for you, but if you can do the bits yourself it shouldnt cost that much
there are loads of guides online to help. I am contemplating doing mine when the weather improves

Which bin do the clippings go into. One for the recycle or the garden waste?

I tried to find some in Coventry and Leamington this evening and couldn't find any.

Do people just use this for concrete parts outside or replace the grass itself?
Am thinking of replacing our grass for this, but heard it could cost a at least £1000 as needs hardcore, membrane, cushion foam and then the grass on top.

has anyone tried patching these together to make a 4x4 metre area? that is all i would need for my garden and am very tempted!

they usually sell joining tape as a separate item, certainly do in Home Bargains so yu shouldn't have any issues.

The great thing about fake grass is it looks great all year round BUT you dont have to pick up the neighbourhood pets poo because they hate even walking on the fake grass, esp cats they think you have just threw them in a full bath

What do you lay it onto? Do you need garden 'underlay'? I've seen some very expensive installation prices and they talk about different qualities of base layers.

Not a bad price for a small quantity - saw this size in Wickes yesterday for £64.99. For larger quantities try Burts Grass (online) - 2 m or 4 m with and any length up to 25m. I've just received a 6m X 2m piece of their 'Cape' variety - £53 plus £9.95 delivery (£3.97 per m2).

I've seen this and its good stuff. I bought 6 rolls of the Home Bargains grass for £29.99 (4m x 1m) per roll a few years ago.....thinking it would last a couple of years at best. Well 4 years on.....a jet wash or two and the stuff is fantastic......From what I saw of the Morrison offer....it looked very similar...very realistic....and I would definitely give it a try if the Home Bargain stuff ever gives up :stuck_out_tongue: Have some heat OP.
