No need I'd say. The rest are very cheap to buy these days on PS3. But jumping straight in here would be fine. It's a great game and you could argue you'd enjoy it even more having not played the others, because of how samely the combat is across the games.

keep getting tempted by this game and that's a really good price and I have vouchers to boost. Never played any previous ones though, should I play the rest before I play this I don't want to be lost on the story
