Question: Keyboard / Flappy Case included or not?
Having spoken to Archos directly, some of these *euro* spec
boxed Archos 90 Cesium tablets do have the keyboard in the
box and some do not..
If you really want the keyboard and yours has not got one with
it, when you get it, simply send it back.. even without it, this is
a crazy price for a branded, 2gb, win10, 32gb rom tablet!
Keep in mind you can use ANY cheap bluetooth mouse/keyboard
with this as well..

Good price, but after buying one of those cheap Linx tablets in January from Sainsburys, you soon come to realise that Windows 10 on a tablet even in 'tablet mode' simply just does not function as well as iOS and android...if you fancy a touchscreen PC on a small screen then this is for you. If you are expecting a designed from the ground upwards mobile experience prepare to be disappointed.

Hi guys!
I just reset my Archo 90 and made a clean Windows10 Install, but then, for my surprise, I can't find the orientation and touchscreen drivers. I've spent several hours searching for them and I haven't been able to find them.
So, can anyone make a backup of his own drivers (windows10 or 8.1, doesn't matter what) and send me the link?
I would be realle really grateful.
Thanks!

Just so you know, I already have this case for my Linx 10: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/black-keyboard-protective-case-for-cube-i10-linx-10-others-12-94-gearbest-2441271, and have got my hands on the Archos and tested it. The pin layout is standard so it does function as it should, also the magnets do actually line up on the Archos (I added an update today to say that on the Linx the left one is reversed). However the size difference is more than a little noticeable.
My local CEX has some pretty cheap. I have a friend with a surface will test his keyboard at somepoint
TYC

Not 100% sure but my guess is no, as the Archos tablet's pogo pin connector has 5 pins, and the surface keyboards have 6 pins. Maybe some1 will have a hack or something.

Ok well without going into technical detail the chip and antenna in the device makes as much difference to the quality of a wifi connection as the router as transmission works two ways.
This device gets substantially slower speeds than my Dell Venue tablet and even my Moto G phone from the same points in my house so either the wireless chipset isn't very good or the antenna is poorly designed.
It's not a router issue.
elrasho
17 May 16#379
Its only the chipset that comes into play.
nige182
17 May 16#378
Some models of the MK808B+ have poor wifi for one and struggle to get signal from outside the room with the router, whereas other chipsets of the same device (using a different wifi chip) work throughout the house, and a laptop will get signal from the car at the end of the drive. Usually the poor wifi in this instance is the result of using a weak combo wifi/Bluetooth chip, though obviously the router can also be a problem if it is affecting multiple devices.
Your experience is clearly rather limited. I am working from personal experience, reading comments from others with similar problems, and common sense.
The common sense comes into play in that a wifi network is a two way data transfer, think of it like a couple of mobile phones, say an iPhone 4 (I think that was the one with widely reported signal strength issues) and any other handset, say an iPhone 6 just to make any Apple fan happy. Both handsets are using the same network, the same masts, clearly the mast isn't the problem, yet one has a fine signal and the other does not. The ability to connect to the network in this case is determined by the coverage of the mast (clearly fine in this example), the gsm chipset in the handset and the aerial in the handset, clearly the iPhone 6 has stronger ones so can connect without problem. Now back to our wifi issue, the router has a good range and coverage, the laptop picks this up fine, however the other device, struggles to stay connected, therefore the wifi chipset and aerial are weak. The router is clearly not at fault.

No Night I don't. From experience most cases it's the router at fault, find me a poor wifi device and I'll retract. When I say poor I mean you only get a connection if your in the same room as the router.

It's not going to feel as solid and nice to hold as an ipad, it's not gorrlila glass so not as droppable or chuckable, it doesn't have a oleophobic screen so smudge central and Windows as a tablet UI is a work in progress so it's not going to be as simple and nice as an ipad but it can do more.
It can do anything a full desktop windows machine can do. Wireless, network or USB printer - check. Download files even torrents - check. Youtube - There isn't a great Windows store app for it but it can run it fine from a browser.
Wifi speed and range isn't great, frankly it's worse than a phone. If your home doesn't have great wifi coverage it's likely going to be a frustrating experience though.

Right, here we go !!!!
I used the remix installer tool posted above using the 64bit version of the remix OS to install it to the c: drive on the tablet.
Then on the tablet go to settings - update & security - recovery ad choose the reset now button under the advanced startup option
Then select "Use a device"
You should now see an option for Remix OS. Click this and the tablet will reboot.
Now come the part that seems to be hit and miss.If you select the top option on the boot menu of RemixOS-x86 the tablet just gets a black screen and will also do the same if you select the xforcevesa option. I use the nomodeset option and it installed Remix and got to the the Remix homescreen but the touchscreen was not set up correct so all I could do was use a keyboard to have a play around !
I have since removed Remix and tried to load it again and the only way it seems to work is if I choose the xforcevesa option and let it stay in the remix bootup screen for a while, reboot the tablet and do the recovery option part again then choose the nomode option.
Hope this helps someone ! I am now on the verge of giving up !

Impressed that the price is fixed with PC World reservations - expected to have a bit of hassle when collecting mine today (almost expected them to apologise and say they didn't have it) but they were dead friendly, helpful and yeah I got it at £49.99 still even though it was back up to £79.99 'cos £49.99 was the price when I reserved it. Even the folk on the telephone system were really helpful when I called to get confirmation that I would be charged £49.99 and not £79.99 (it was a long trip by bus and I'm still battling Crohns so I wanted to confirm as much as I could before setting off to avoid the wasted trip.)
Mine is charging at the moment. Will play tomorrow perhaps. Only wanted something small that's capable of running old / small specialist Windows programs to help me when I'm playing with electronics. I even have a keyboard case I'd got for 50p at car boot that might well work with it.

Thanks for posting this OP, I've been after a half-decent windows tablet since my Venue 8 Pro got crushed by my bed (oops?). I got the linx 7 last year but Windows 10 with just 1GB of memory was completely un-usable.
I'm really liking this tablet so far, performance is much more similar to my V8P and the screen size is a bit better - the 7 was too small. The build quality is very very similar to the Linx 7 - given the design of it such as the plastics and the useless speaker and the plasticky touchscreen, I suspect they're from the same OEM.
The USB 3.0 port was a nice surprise too - its performance isn't full USB 3.0 but just having a full size USB port makes it very useful.
Mine did not come with the keyboard but I've already got a bluetooth keyboard and a stand so I don't mind about that
From my POV, the Toshiba click mini or the miix tablets are better if you need a keyboard, I mostly just need a fairly portable tablet to complement my laptop.

so many negative comments and reviews regarding built quality.
and lack of keyboard in this version (as opposed to EU version which has built in detachable Keyboard) makes it a bad deal even at £50 and even as an spare tablet.

If I'd paid £100 I'd definitely feel let down. If I'd paid £80 with it I'd probably feel like I should have just stretched a little further and got something higher quality. But for £50?! There's nothing catastrophically wrong with it.
From the weight of it I wouldn't fancy it's chances dropping it even on carpet so probably don't give it to a kid or someone careless. The plastic isn't a premium plastic, but it's not the tacky brittle stuff a lot of Chinese products are made of . Quality wise I'd say it's ever so slightly behind the Asus Memo Pad 7 ME173X I picked up a couple of years ago which survived 12 months of back packing during it's tenure and is still going strong as a fully functioning device.
My one complaint is the wifi is pretty terrible if you don't have line of sight to the router. We're talking 3-4mbit/s where even my Moto G can get 12mbit/s and my Dell Venue 11 is getting 30mbit/s. If you want something to roam around a house with slightly patchy wifi this is going to be a frustrating device.

Good price, but after buying one of those cheap Linx tablets in January from Sainsburys, you soon come to realise that Windows 10 on a tablet even in 'tablet mode' simply just does not function as well as iOS and android...if you fancy a touchscreen PC on a small screen then this is for you. If you are expecting a designed from the ground upwards mobile experience prepare to be disappointed.
ssjinzo to cicobuff
12 May 162#21
Totally agree but to be honest i was quite surprised at my Acer switch 11 which has replaced my big laptop and my android tab. Depends of course what you use it for. I don't game as much as I can or want to and play on my mobile small session when I can. I normally use it to browse and watch content with the occasional word and email reply which I think this tablet with be fine for. If you require a device for ebook browsing and content viewing with full office support this is the way to go. If you looking for latest app and mobile games I would advise to look elsewhere.

Windows as a 'tablet' OS is still fairly flawed, not as intuitive as Android and still lacking apps. But when you use it as more of a hybrid device with a keyboard and pointing device that's where it comes into it's own.
Plus the fact that low cost windows tablets have HDMI out ports is another point I tend to favour them for.
meherenow to cicobuff
12 May 163#134
Really? Windows 10 works fine for me on tablet mode, on the 3 Linx Lights I bought from Sainsbury, not to mention the Surface Pro 3 I used to have and now my Surface Book.
Tip: rescale the display to 125% and you'll find this easier to work with.
Each to their own I suppose, after all this IS a Win 10 tablet and not iOS (horribly overpriced) or Android (good luck with that at this price) so why anyone would expect otherwise mystifies me...
We do have a couple of LG 8.3 inch Android tablets, but they were £200 at the time and have a much better screen resolution. And they don't do half the things even this tablet is capable of.
Bejeezus to cicobuff
12 May 161#153
That really is a pretty good analysis tbh..
My 128Gb Lenovo thinkpad 8 running Win 10 excels over IOS in certain things but TBH often falls over for the most simple tasks such as reliably connecting to a wifi connection! As a result I still use my iPad 3rd gen in preference most of the time.
You really have to wonder how MS managed to make the Windows 10 tablet experience worse than Windows 8?

This is so true. I'd rather a tablet with an OS which was designed from the ground up for it rather than a desktop OS which has been adjusted to suit this form factor. Sure there's the advantage of desktop-class applications, but I can't see many people trying to run Photoshop on something like this to prove a point.
Still, at this price you almost want to take a punt and use it for something else! Kitchen wall-mounted PC perhaps?

agree and disagree having owned a linx8 for a couple of years. first up - win10 (or 8 ) is not even remotely close to the smoothness and app integration of iOS or android tablets, suffers problems with inputs and in my experience with a linx8 can drain battery pretty fast on standby, plus the z3735 chip is 2 years old, very poor in 3d games and can get quite hot.
flipside, it's windows. install steam on it and it can stream games from your pc, plus it's capable of playing games such as XCOM 1 at low settings and handles indies, older rpg's/strategy games and visual novels just fine. you have a world of proper productivity programmes (and their free/trial versions) to choose from as well as a huge selection of games and plenty of sources to buy from.
i'm waiting for either a really cheap z8300 tablet or the next budget mobile chip to come along to upgrade from my linx8, and win10 can be a dog to use on a touchscreen (right clicking and mouseovers are a nightmare and even app switching/closing is a grief) but even older devices like this are great if you've ever wished you can install windows programmes/games on a tablet. if you just want email, web, social media and youtube plus some f2p games you are better off sticking with a budget android though.

Windows Store games are fairly limited in number and quantity. Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/) can be installed, but games frequently prefer a controller, or a keyboard and mouse to a touchscreen. XBox/PS3/4 controllers can be attached via USB/bluetooth depending on the controller. More demanding games need more RAM than this has (2GB), but many games will still play well, e.g. Dungeon Defender.

Not 100% true. You can return it providing you have not registered or used the software contained in it. IE if you run windows and go through any setup/registration, the law states the supplier does not have to accept the return.
Also all goods must be a resalable condition, so if you've removed protective plastics etc. You are also knackered.

Look at the mess that Android has become, it might have started from the ground up, but as the expanded into the world of real computing, they ended up making a right pigs ear of it. At least Apple had the sense to keep their children's toy interface by controlling the hardware.
I've used a Linx tablet where it wasn't practical to carry a 'serious' tablet or laptop, and it's perfectly feasible to do a lot of things that are impossible on Android/iOS, Windows memory management these days and solid state memory, massively improve the performance in limited ram situations.
I personally have 3 Linx, and 3 Dell Windows tablets, performing various functions around my house, quite simply there's no way I could manage this with Android or iOS, what's more the Linx tablets have got me many years of 5TB cloud access which is handy, all for the total price of a relatively low end iPad.
My two boys are happy using the Linx tablets as media devices and games machines, and if they're happy in my opinion that's a sign that it's not that bad.

Certainly not knocking the price of this or other offers out there on budget Windows tablets, I took a punt on one myself...but yes, that is exactly the point I am getting at...kudos for Microsoft trying an all encompassing OS...and I guess for those that want to have a bridge for their desktop or laptop I get it...but really that is more a niché market than what the majority of the general public want a tablet for, and what Windows 10 really is poorly designed at doing especially on small 7 and 8 inch form factors.

OK deal i suppose for the kids or viewing video. Most of these 10" or less tablets will be placed on a shelf to gather dust after a few months. Face it, Windows 10 for tablets is a dogs dinner of an OS. The woeful Microsoft app store is poorly supported and is pretty much useless. These cheap Win 10 tablets will eventually disappear now that Intel is pulling out of the mobile chip market. Even with Intel virtually giving the chips away and Microsoft donating Win 10 for free not enough people want them. Microsoft has had a go at trying to promote a one size fits all OS but it's not really worked out. Fill your boots while you can.

Every time I try using that tiny 8" tablet I just want to be hooked up with a keyboard and mouse, nothing really is designed well for using a Linx 8 solely as a touchscreen tablet device like with iOS or Android, and it has all the KB install pitfalls and browser popups that Windows has.

12 May 161#164
Real shame these don't come with the keyboard, yer you can get Bluetooth but that will drain battery. Biggest miss is the touchpad you would get, Windows 10 isn't the best for touch screen unless you use their touchscreen apps (if your going to use apps the iOS or android is always going to win for me), and the touch screen isn't particularly accurate on these. Using with a USB mouse is a nice experience with this though, the screen is bright, it boots quick, fairly light and build is ok. A bargain at £50. Now, how to get hold of the keyboard....
Rickardo
12 May 16#163
Wasnt it this price as well? Istill have mine and it still gets used by the kids. Ok, so the screen ripples with the slightest pressure on the back, but for light games and movies in the car, it's been perfect to chuck around etc.

btw guys, I found out that this tablet has very similar dimensions to the HTC Nexus 9, so for anyone who are looking for a generic case for this tablet, you can look for cases what fits the Nexus 9's (obviously not the custom made Nexus 9 cases as the port positions will not match).
HTC Nexus 9: 153.68 x 228.25 x 7.95 mm

No keyboard supplied.
Things I would suggest.
Run the Colour Calibration tool in the Advanced Display Settings as the default colour profile is not that great (far too much green)
I would suggest installing all updates and joining the Windows Insider Program to move onto the Slow lane of Windows Releases at least. The newest builds have better Tablet support and features like Memory compression (good for low RAM devices) amongst other fixes and improvements.

We all have our preferences and prejudices: I quite like our Win 10 tablets to the extent that I always feel ripped off when I go back to one of our iPads. Unfortunately there are a few apps - such as the Daily Telegraph cryptic crossword - that are not available on the Windows 10 version, so I'll have to keep at least one Apple product on for the time being.
Comparing cost for cost: I know I'd rather have one of these and £200 in my pocket than an iPad!
othen
12 May 16#129
This looks like a really good buy. We have a couple of Linx tablets (7 and 1010) both running Windows 10, and I must say they both compare pretty well with our iPad minis (common interface with our laptops/desktops, expandable memory, USB and HDMI connections) at a fraction of the cost. This PC looks to be a similar specification (2Mb RAM is good) so I'm pleased to be able to add some heat.
Good find OP.

I use an iPad air and bought then quickly sold the Linx 7 - just wanted to see what the Windows 10 is like on touchscreen. If you like horizontally scrolling apps, maybe it's for you. The quality of touch screen app design on W10 is terrible.
Connect it to a mouse / keyboard / monitor and you got yourself the most slowest PC in the world. Imho, - good for kids maybe but a cheapo android tablet is much better.

Not according to the returns policy on their website, see below (as we have made the purchase online, which they state below);

Picked one up about an hour ago and typing this on it now.
Used some discount vouchers through 'my rewards' and got it for 46 quid.
It doesn't come with a keyboard, not that I expected it to.
Its a cheap tablet, but its actually very smooth with browsing and streaming. Its not going to be running HD games or setting any records but at £46, its not far from disposable. I'm not going to be shedding any tears if the screen gets scratches or suffers some bumps.

Keep in mind you can use ANY cheap bluetooth mouse/keyboard

Yes, that is why when I had an 8" Linx tablet I really do not get much of its purpose unless I add a mouse and keyboard. Most people that buy tablets do not intend it to be a hybrid device and as you said, that is pretty much what I found out and personally I do not see much point in owning a Windows tablet of under 10" because of that fact.

Cant get away with Archos, their components (especially screen) are so poor, they feel flimsy too, not to mention their warranty is an absolute joke. I'd stick to some of the other atom/2gb win10 tablets. not a bad deal, but I could never reccomend anyone spending >£20 on an Archos product

I've just upgraded my Linx tablet to Win10. I'm trying to reverse it because imo Win10 is AWFUL. Wouldn't work properly at all for me.
But even though you get a period to reverse the upgrade, my tablet isn't complying at all with it. Each time I set the reversion, it goes into thinking about it then shuts down.

Same thing happened to me. Upgraded to Win 10. Some things wouldn't work and wifi was a nightmare. Hated Win10, but I couldn't change back. No idea why. None of the recovery options would work.
No idea if the URLs you need would be OK here, so I won't post them. There's a UK site with a factory recovery image for the Linx 7" (which is the model I have) as well as one for the 8" and 10" (I think). Google for it. It got my Linx back to running 8.1 in about 20 minutes. I then installed GWX Control Panel (google it) a simple freeware app to stop Win10 downloading & installing automatically.

Also, from the manual "UserGuide_ARCHOS_90_Cesium_book.pdf" it says it comes with an Office licence.
Activating Microsoft Office
A free license is provided for one year. This license, once activated, allows you to install Microsoft Office on two devices by connecting your Microsoft account.
1. From the tablet homescreen, select the Microsoft Office application. You are required to activate it.
2. Enter your Microsoft account to log in. Your license is now linked to your account. On a second device (computer, tablet or smartphone), you can download Microsoft office.
!If you restore your device to its default settings without activating your license,
you lose the benefit of the free license.
However, all the reviews online says it doesn't, so don't know if i'd trust Archos.
I guessing it won't have a 365 licence included

Question: Keyboard / Flappy Case included or not?
Having spoken to Archos directly, some of these *euro* spec
boxed Archos 90 Cesium tablets do have the keyboard in the
box and some do not..
If you really want the keyboard and yours has not got one with
it, when you get it, simply send it back.. even without it, this is

Keep in mind you can use ANY cheap bluetooth mouse/keyboard

I just reset my Archo 90 and made a clean Windows10 Install, but then, for my surprise, I can't find the orientation and touchscreen drivers. I've spent several hours searching for them and I haven't been able to find them.
So, can anyone make a backup of his own drivers (windows10 or 8.1, doesn't matter what) and send me the link?
I would be realle really grateful.
Thanks!

"The nice people at Alibaba made me up a single unit because i asked, so if you want one its worth asking."
This device gets substantially slower speeds than my Dell Venue tablet and even my Moto G phone from the same points in my house so either the wireless chipset isn't very good or the antenna is poorly designed.
It's not a router issue.
The router is clearly not at fault.
are you able to install android on Archos ?
please suggest me. Planning to do same.
thanks in advance
M
It can do anything a full desktop windows machine can do. Wireless, network or USB printer - check. Download files even torrents - check. Youtube - There isn't a great Windows store app for it but it can run it fine from a browser.
Wifi speed and range isn't great, frankly it's worse than a phone. If your home doesn't have great wifi coverage it's likely going to be a frustrating experience though.
As soon as it arrives i'll post some pics.
Obviously 8.9 isnt the best supported size as i've come to find so I hope this does the job!
Also has anyone had a problem with the camera app where it crashes when you switch between front and back cameras?

Looks like it's ok and you will need a keyboard with the Archos which come swithout.
I think most people will be disappointed and feel they have wasted their £50.
If you want something to roam around a house with slightly patchy wifi this is going to be a frustrating device.
worth it for xbox one streaming, which works really well, if nothing else.
It's not great, it works and is stand alone but it's not even close to the native android apps and I tend to just wind up using chrome which on a tablet with 2gb of memory is fine.
That'll teach the suckers a lesson!
And well done to Currys for pwning hduk and manipulating the arrows!
Faults were, unresponsive on some apps, other apps wrongly opened, tablet was just crazy, screen went all over the place, things like text re-sized, some commands didn't work, others did different things, etc, etc, etc.
Awful.
Thanks!

O
Plus the fact that low cost windows tablets have HDMI out ports is another point I tend to favour them for.
Still, at this price you almost want to take a punt and use it for something else! Kitchen wall-mounted PC perhaps?
flipside, it's windows. install steam on it and it can stream games from your pc, plus it's capable of playing games such as XCOM 1 at low settings and handles indies, older rpg's/strategy games and visual novels just fine. you have a world of proper productivity programmes (and their free/trial versions) to choose from as well as a huge selection of games and plenty of sources to buy from.
i'm waiting for either a really cheap z8300 tablet or the next budget mobile chip to come along to upgrade from my linx8, and win10 can be a dog to use on a touchscreen (right clicking and mouseovers are a nightmare and even app switching/closing is a grief) but even older devices like this are great if you've ever wished you can install windows programmes/games on a tablet. if you just want email, web, social media and youtube plus some f2p games you are better off sticking with a budget android though.
good luck.
Regarding video editing it'd take ages with only 2gb ram and most of that will be used so IMHO I wouldn't count on it much
I mean that is kind of what this website is all about.

Also all goods must be a resalable condition, so if you've removed protective plastics etc. You are also knackered.
but yes for store pick up they can refuse returns (in case of change of mind) as it doesn't fall into distance selling category.
however you can still return it if you think it is faulty.
Can I work on my tannage while I use this?
This is a serious question
Quite impressed.
Thanks OP

Its an OK deal I suppose, sort of price we've had in various devices over last 12 months.
The newest builds have better Tablet support and features like Memory compression (good for low RAM devices) amongst other fixes and improvements.
http://www.lovesummertrue.com/touchmousepointer/en-us/
As has been said before, never again
Comparing cost for cost: I know I'd rather have one of these and £200 in my pocket than an iPad!

Connect it to a mouse / keyboard / monitor and you got yourself the most slowest PC in the world. Imho, - good for kids maybe but a cheapo android tablet is much better.

How do I return an unwanted product?
An unwanted product can be returned for a full refund within 21 days of delivery as long as it’s still in its original, unopened packaging. This returns policy for unopened goods is in addition to your statutory rights and applies to purchases made in store, online or over the phone.
Separately to the 21 day policy above, and in accordance with your rights when you purchase goods online or over the phone, unwanted items can be returned even if you have opened them for inspection as long as you let us know within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery. Once you have told us you want to return an item, you should do so without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to cancel the order. You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but to obtain a full refund you must not start using them, install them or input any data/software. The goods must be returned in ‘as new’ condition and in their original packaging.
Returns and exchanges can only be processed with proof of purchase. This can be the sales receipt, a bank statement or an online sales invoice. Please provide your order numbers when you return a product.
There are 3 ways to return a product bought online or over the phone:

Over the phone: You can also arrange free product collection and refund or exchange, by calling the Knowhow contact centre on 0344 561 1234.
Email: You can also arrange free product collection and refund by emailing [email protected]

I have gone for next day delivery so it will be here tomorrow. Going to use mine for films and emulators when I go on holiday in a few weeks
but not having a keyboard is a big shame..not sure if should I pick it up or not..specially since with collect in store option, returning wont be that easy..

Windows 10 is excellent on my desktop and laptop but on my Linx 7" it totally sucked.
Thanks in advance Malcolm
On the outside of the box it comes in ;-)

Question: Keyboard / Flappy Case included or not?
Having spoken to Archos directly, some of these *euro* spec
boxed Archos 90 Cesium tablets do have the keyboard in the
box and some do not..
If you really want the keyboard and yours has not got one with
it, when you get it, simply send it back.. even without it, this is
a crazy price for a branded, 2gb, win10, 32gb rom tablet!
Keep in mind you can use ANY cheap bluetooth mouse/keyboard
with this as well..
Or just install windows 10 14332 as above and be done with all the previous reported issues?
1) it does come with the keyboard case, which i think it should
2) if it comes with an Office 365 Licence key (you can check by "From the tablet homescreen, select the Microsoft Office application. You are required to activate it.)"
Cheers
But even though you get a period to reverse the upgrade, my tablet isn't complying at all with it. Each time I set the reversion, it goes into thinking about it then shuts down.
Stick WIP [windows insider preview] 10332 on it Quids, it will be as smooth as silk and will give you a
chance to have a nice new fresh install, without all the windows 10 problems that most consumers are
having with the stock old version + c.rappy updates!

No idea if the URLs you need would be OK here, so I won't post them. There's a UK site with a factory recovery image for the Linx 7" (which is the model I have) as well as one for the 8" and 10" (I think). Google for it. It got my Linx back to running 8.1 in about 20 minutes. I then installed GWX Control Panel (google it) a simple freeware app to stop Win10 downloading & installing automatically.
pouch". So must be included
If they do not come with the included keyboard, that is included, just send it back ;-) Was that the same
Currys/PC World customer support that stated in the 90's that there was no need to buy any extra ram for
your hundreds of office and corporate machines as there will be no increase in prices due to the PCB
factories that supplied the whole chain of pc builders for the group.. 2 days later it has quadrupled in
price.. you are better off asking a goldfish in a bowl for advice [no disrespect to Jessica as she is limited
by the info supplied by there c.rappy system] on your buy!!!

Shame your going to miss a bargain price just because you think that :-)

Good on you Vass, always pays off to subscribe to my stupido-geeko comments hey!!

It is, some of the euro spec ones [france] had a slightly different keyboard and afawk Archos deliberately
added the keyboard to compete with the flurry of £600 versions that do the same as this £150 one that
is now silly money!
My question your bought the tablet
What you will do ?
Like
Read web
Play music
play video
??
My phone can do all this open web , play music , play video ,
I mean this is pc style tablet what usage for this device ?? as windows 10 is not same as android or Ipad So my question than why you buy this device??
Yes, it is connected to the case, this is the only Archos that supports a proper keyboard by the way ;-)
